Nick Diaz, is at it again, missing a required CSAC piss test for Saturdays Strikeforce “Carano vs Cyborg” fight aginst Jay Heiron.

Diaz was scheduled to take a pre-fight drug test tonight in order to get licensed and no showed. Caesar Gracie stated Wednesday that Diaz would appear for the test tonight in Sacramento. Neither Diaz nor Caesar showed up for the test and representatives for Diaz said Diaz was “busy training”.

Because of the time required to get test results back, CSAC believes the test would have had to be taken tonight. Strikeforce was contacted and promised Diaz would appear for the test Monday. CSAC has agreed to this new date but has stated there is a good chance test results will not be back in time to license him for the show.[F4Wonline]

An honest mistake or could Diaz be buying time so his results come back clean.

Diaz, a proud pot smoker, had his greatest win on record overturned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, after testing positive for Marijuana following his gogoplata submission win over Takanori Gomi at PRIDE 33 “Second Coming”.

UPDATE
Nick Diaz didn’t show up for his test today, Strikeforce has confirmed he is out and TUF castoff Jesse Taylor will replace him and face Jay Heiron in a three round non-title fight.

Seriously! A true boyscout and now his fine, upstanding reputation stands to take a blow from what is OBVIOUSLY a simple misunderstanding. If they refuse his badge of merit over this I, for one, will be appalled. I say Good Day, Sir!

AHA! roy m'boy! Glad to see you around again. They just don't want fighters to succeed. They HATE lucrative sporting events that bring $$$ into the economy. The state is doing fine anyway.

God damn…anyone else wanna pull outta this card? Seems like every title fight on this card has taken a hit in some way. I'm waiting for Carano and Cyborg not to make weight to cap it off…but Dana is loving this shit.

Weak. It's not like pot is a performance enhancing drug. If anything, you should start out with an extra point for coming to a fight high. I like Diaz, but if he's gonna fight, he should play by the book.

    LEGALIZE IT!

yeah cuz marijuana is SO BAD. i would be all about seeing an organization rise up with all these fighters getting suspended for living their own lives. and watch them all fight each other.

what a Muppet so much in front of him and he wants to blow it by doing weed.

Ban him and make an example of him that its not acceptable to miss tests cos he knows he has something in his system.

This is a major blow to Strikeforce. It makes them look like amateurs.

Weed use is so unimportant in today's world, but as a martial artist I'm surprised that a professional would smoke it. It can only derail training and dull the senses.

I think it is so funny u guys hurry up and blame it on weed. U guys will find out soon enough. He did not have drugs in his system do u think he might be a pawn in Danas game and is helping take down strikeforce by making there shows a flop. And making them look unprofesional.
