June 22, 2009 at 5:42 am
the first comment wasnt me either… this is getting pretty stupid
June 22, 2009 at 5:44 am
We need to convince Cage Today to change this posting method or they are going to lose us posting all the time. If immature idiots keep posting under our names, that's going to kill the fun of it. Douches.
June 22, 2009 at 6:05 am
ya its pretty lame but who cares all i gotta do is say thats not me and it just makes them look stupid and they wasted their time. its easy to tell thats not me. it's prolly TJ seeing as he's the only one on here that has a blatant grudge against me. oh but i forgot he doesnt even know how to post under my names…right…
June 22, 2009 at 6:09 am
this is the only fight i have ever wanted Fedor to win

The commentator in this video talks in a batman voice.
June 23, 2009 at 8:31 pm
I'm sure Tom is a nice guy, but he really should not be doing the Dana White thing talking about the fights because he is not very good at it.
June 23, 2009 at 11:51 pm
Andrei made 2.25 million dollars to fight for Affliction in his last to fights..He lost both of the fights to Fedor and Rogers..
wtf Affliction does it right
June 23, 2009 at 11:52 pm
i hate josh B i think he is a little pussy Juicer and i hope Fador knocks him out or Subs him..
June 24, 2009 at 12:08 am
Yeah but look like AA now. Sherdog's article yesterday reported that AA was cut from Affliction and the org will not resign him, given his heavy paycheck and lack of delivering wins. AA will never get a pay as he did in Affliction, and he has to go find a new spot in another organization now. Guys like Frank Mir had pretty bad losses, but their pay grade has always been stepped up slowly to salaries comparable to their skill level. I personally think AA was overpaid, especially when you see that he got double of what Fedor got.

Who cares Fedor anit shit until he joins the UFC. He running scared from the UFC, he has never much as had a sit down with them. At least Dana has tried to get him. I think He's a bum on steroids. In Pride there was no steroid testing. Shit even Josh Barnett got caught on steroids. Why do you think he went to Japan? Almost all those Pride guy were roiding. Why do you think they were all bad ass in Pride then sucked while in the UFC? Fedor is 100% hype somewhat like a Butterbean. I don't give a shit what you guys say Fedor anit shit until he joins the UFC. When Affliction goes out of business I bet he will cut and run back to Russia or go to a second or third tear MMA league. Not, the UFC because he knows some nobody will knock him the fuck out.
June 24, 2009 at 5:24 am
lol, yeah running scared fighting the 2nd best hw out there.
June 24, 2009 at 5:40 am
1. Dana and Fedor's management tried to get a deal done, but there was no compromise, and who do you think was not compromising?
2. Does Fedor's body type/shape look like he's on steriods? I'll give you pride boys were roiding (randleman and barnett), no argument there
3. "hype like butterbean" …. I'm not going to dignify that with a response.
4. About getting ktfo…go on youtube and watch his fight against Fujita. bam, roasted.
5. I agree he needs to come to the UFC after this fight to up his level in competition. We'll see what happens.
I'm not the biggest Fedor fan in the world, but damn, I'd like to think I know a little bit about MMA, and that rant shouts ignorance. No disrepect.
June 24, 2009 at 5:42 am
oh, ps. Go on wikipedia, look up Fedor, go to his fights, and glance at his competition from pride days to affliction. Summary: He's beaten five former ufc champs, sixth coming up. He fought all the best of pride, usually giving up quite a bit of weight.
June 24, 2009 at 5:59 am
With all due respect beating Five former UFC champs out of their prime since there no longer with the UFC doesnt account for much….all it shows is he beat somehow who held a major championship before…where as alot of people have done the same damn thing.
Fedor needs to stop fighting has beens and mediocre fighters and play with the up and comers and big boys in the UFC…guys who could give him a fight.
dont get me wrong Fedor is one of the best out there and has dominated but lets see how he dominates the UFC…if that will ever happen…if fedor really wanted to prove his existance and fight the best of the best he wouldnt wait until the UFC fighters beat eachother up and take seconds and thirds i.e. Arlosvski, Sylvia, Barnett etc…he would come in and fight them in the UFC octogon in their primes…fighters that could potentionally end his legendary status ala Crop Crop.
I am not saying it would happen but all i am saying is the chance and obviously Fedor and his management dont want to take that Chance and other reasons as well.
Fedor is the best outside the UFC period end of story and until he faces UFC fighters while there still UFC fighters in their prime, he will always be in my eyes the best that ever could HAVE been.
June 24, 2009 at 6:02 am
And not the best there ever was…
June 24, 2009 at 6:07 am
watre u talking about tim? he beat randleman in his prime, he beat cro cop when he was destroying the heavyweight division and was ranked the nyumber 2 heavy, he beat sylvia one fight after sylvia faught for the ufc heavyweight title, he beat arlovski when he was ranked the number 2 heavyweight in the world, and who the hell knows when coleman was in his prime hes a dinosaur. thanks for writting a long post about nothing it only took a paragraph to discredit it. oh and he will beat barnette who is ranked the number 2 heavyweight in the world right now. GET OVER IT.
June 24, 2009 at 6:09 am
oh and i forgot he beat nog when nog was untouchable for a long time as the pride heavyweight champion. the only one that u coudl say wasnt in his prime was mark coleman but if u wanna say that then you might aswell discredit everyone who have beatin him.
June 24, 2009 at 6:17 am
It seems all threads end up in the same discussion about Fedor haha…granted this thread is actually about the topic of Fedor's next fight. THere's nothing more I want then Fedor in the UFC, but just because he's not in the UFC you can't call him a hack. He's the best heavyweight in the world right now, and has been for some time. If he wants to fight the best, he'll be in the UFC after this fight, because all other heavys at #2 will be in the UFC after he beats Barnett (knock on wood). If he just can't stay away from Sambo, then he'll do that. I'm just hoping for the first scenario like everyone else.
June 24, 2009 at 6:20 am
Barnett should def. not be ranked number 2……..He is overrated…..there are better heavyweights than him.
June 24, 2009 at 6:23 am
And, I love the UFC and it does have the best competition, which makes fighters better…but you can be in another organization other than the UFC and still be a great fighter.
June 24, 2009 at 6:42 am
barnette wont be number 2 for long fedor will knock him downa few pegs.
June 24, 2009 at 6:46 am
i don't know if barnnett should be #2 or not but who do you have as better than him? and the ufc is the best except not at hw as long as fedor is not there that is where the true hw champ is they are the ones fighting inferior fighters intell they face him.
June 24, 2009 at 7:20 am
there was a post awhile back where dana had some really big news but he wouldn't say what it was because of a contract so has he spilled the news yet?????? we all know it wasn't about kimbo cause he already mentioned that previously. Could it be fedor and can't say anything untill after the fight???????
the above comment was actually from me other derek……sorry about that derek

June 24, 2009 at 7:42 am
roy made a funny
June 24, 2009 at 8:41 am
Good call maybe he did sign Fedor but i doubt it as it would of been leaked by now from someone but you never know. Truth Be told Fedor is the best right now but until he fights the UFC fighters its all speculation and his career will always be a what if scenario but surely he is among the best ever.
June 24, 2009 at 8:52 am
Agreed. Fedor stands to be the G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time), but if he doesn't fight in the UFC, his legacy is questioned. It's like a really good tennis player beating everyone in tennis in all those smaller tournaments, but never playing in Wimbledon. Or you can use Bobby Lashley. He is fighting in the small shows now and is 3-0. If he gets up to like 20-0 fighting in smaller shows, nobody will take him seriously until he fights in the UFC.
June 24, 2009 at 2:30 pm
Derek very well put…..I see a lot of people on here who get bashed for saying that but it is true in my opinion. Yea Fedor is good really good but I think if he wants to put no doubt on anyones mind that he is the best he would go to UFC. I know Fedor is not trying to make it appear he's the best and he's not into all the media stuff but still. Just my opinion
June 24, 2009 at 3:42 pm
i dunno derek if lashley beat everyone fedor has beaten it wouldnt matter where people would take him seriously. a fights a fight its not football or baseball its a one on one showdown and i dont care if fedor beat the people he did in a ring, and octagon, a barn, or a backyard on you tube like kimbo a fights a fight.
June 24, 2009 at 10:18 pm
I still think Fedor's definitely top three with GSP and Anderson Silva. People who don't take him seriously just because he's not in the UFC are ignorant. You can't say Miguel Torres, Mike Brown and Urijah Faber aren't legit just because they aren't in the UFC. Fedor did beat people in their prime like Nog and Cro Cop. For the people who think Fedor's crap, watch his fights. He's the real deal. But I do believe he needs to go to the UFC after he beats Josh Barnett. And for people who think Barnett's an easy fight again, Barnett's tied for 2nd ranked heavyweight in the world with Mir.
June 25, 2009 at 12:15 am
Fedor is G.O.A.T
Pride a small org?
Pride was so big UFC HAD to buy it out to stop them from dying.
i mean seriously think before you write. UFC pays its fighters junk…
Bartnett tied for number 2 with Frank Mir? lol get out…. i mean seriously the guy has more holes in his record than a pornstar.
Frank Mir beat a SICK Nog, who he was SET to beat…. i mean really Nog has the fact that he is a tough SOB and good sub skills, that is ALL he has Frank is tailor made to fight him, just as Randy is, and Randy will beat him.
Fedor beat more comp in there Prime than anyone else has EVER done. Mark Coleman not in his Prime? lol the dude is fighting in the UFC currently and will make a good run for 205lbs.
Fedor on Steroids? don't be stupid, MMA is a sport, fight in America and you get tested…. simple as that, and i'm fairly sure he gets tested in Sambo too.
Dana made a big signing, and im fairly sure that is was Vitor Belfort back in the UFC to fight Silva. (and he'll win imho)
P4P right now
GSP or Alves (depending on there fight)
