Brock Lesnar Featured In Maxim Magazine

Brock Lesnar “I Like to Punish People”

“I like to punish people … It’s a feeling you can’t get anywhere else, really. If I did it to somebody on the street, I’d get sued or arrested.”

Brock on WWE:

“You get so brainwashed. You’re on the road 300 days a year, and that’s why guys get so messed up. This life becomes a part of them. It’s not real, but some guys who are still in the business think it is. You look at Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler–he just couldn’t let it go. You live a double life. I was tired of trying to be who I was in the ring and then coming home for two days to be normal. They didn’t allow you to be. The guys who get out are the smart ones, really and truly.”

Frank Mir:

“If Brock Lesnar was never in the WWE,” says Frank Mir, against whom Lesnar will mount his first title defense on July 11, “he would never have gotten a title shot. And he knows that. But that’s how people get paid. The bottom line is it’s not always about who’s a better fighter.”

Check out the UFC 100 Link, you can vote for who you think will win each fight and tons of videos and Dana's thoughts on the fighters.

Brock is a beast and a very athletic one, Mir is jeoulous and scarred becuase he knows he is going to get his ass kicked again with a different outcome sure we all know why Brock got his title shot thats not a secret and sure we all know he still has a long journey in MMA but thats the scarry part and the best thing about MMA seeing fighters journies their ups and downs and highlights seeing the fighter grow not only as a fighter but a person….

Brock will win this fight i just dont see Mir winning by Sub again and thats the only way he will win this fight.

Brock will eventually lose but he might not for a long time each and every time he gets in the octogon he is a much better overall fighter than when previously…and that is scarry…a man of his size, strength and overall athleticsm and abilities who can only become better in MMA…thats just sick…its like possibly having a bigger and badder Fedor…

I just cant wait to see how he does with fighters of similar abilities…Velasquez, Carwin, etc…

You guys are both retarded. Granted, both fighters are not the same fighters that met the first time around, but Mir has improved his game SOOOOO MUCH more than Brock has since their first fight. Mir wins this if it stays standing and he wins this if it goes to the ground.

Pretty funny..LOL thats just retarded to say that Mir has gotten so much better than Brock since they first fought…Mir hasnt shown much if any improvement except for his win against a SICK Nog…boxing skills improved a bit but Lesnar has gotten alot better and i dont see Mir being able to exchange blows with Lesnar and being able to keep standing…Brock hits alot harder and is much quicker….But in MMA anything can happen i just dont see how Lesnar can let this oppurtunity go by to avenge his first loss and beat down the trash talking Mir and retain his title…

i dont see him standing and trading with Brock either …if he hits him like he did Heath that time Mir will be in trouble ….if Mir keeps his wits about him and avoid an early sledgehammer to the head he has got a great chance i think……. i still am rooting for Mir…..

Derek….This is stupid..Brock dominated the entire fight up until the rookie mistake, Mir got dropped and rocked twice from a newbie lesnar punches…just image whats going to happen when Lesnar throws punches now….he KO'd Randy from a grazed punch to the side of the head that Randy tried to dodge and said it himself a man of his power and reach isnt fun to fight…

Mir is in trouble and can not exchange blows with Lesnar…this is lesnars fight to win and he should dictate the fight and stay away from the ground game unless he drops Mir and goes for ground and pound but if Mir regains his whereabouts and seems to be looking for a sub..Brock needs to stand up and back away and get the fight back on its feet…I see this fight ending via TKO lesnar or Decision as well.

I hope its a war and goes at least 3 rounds.

Brock has chicken legs. He should work on his legs. His upper body is big enough. If he got tree trunks to go with that just imagine the kicks he'll eventually deliver once he adds more controlled and skilled stand up to his game. This guy is a "young" MMA fighter, as far as well-roundedness goes. He's dominant on sheer size, but once he knows how to use all that better, then watch out.

Let’s clear this. Mir did not get knocked down or wobbled. He got hit and then was pushed down. If you watch the replay, it CLEARLY shows this. Mir did not take any accurate punch from Brock. It was clearly a push and a slip involved. It was only when Mir went down that Brock started pounding him and making it look bad. But Mir submitted him…. so what matters is the end result. Just for the record, Mir was pushed down from Brock. YouTube it. It is a common misconception

i used to think it was mir just falling down not getting hit but i just decided to youtube it and i saw him get hit clean in the jaw and the was absolutely not pushed what so ever.

maybe you should give him some workout tips cobra clutch jk man

ya im sure his legs are pretty strong tho i forget how much he squats but i remember it being something rediculous. some people can workout their calfs everyday and never get them big.

i cant wait for this fight. i really hope brock wins. id hate to see him get caught again though. i dont think that will happen this time cuz he should be more experienced now. that really was a rookie mistake. i think mir gets ko'd in round 1

Cobra Clutch, have you ever thought of maybe why he doesnt train his legs that much? Well one VERY important point is he probably walks around at 290lbs? And cuts weight to 265, add muscles to the legs and you got 10-20 more lbs to drop at a fight.

Mir will get dominated, and rightfully so. To underestimate Brock is a stupid thing to do. His only chance is a submission, legs or knees and i dont see that happening again.

@Zykon: No, I never gave thought to Lesnar's legs before I saw that picture. hahahaa.

@Dane: I would be happy to help out Brock train. Lord knows I can use the money. And my legs and kicks are solid, so it would be a good deal. hahaha.

anyone skilled who fights brock will be exciting to watch just because brock is big and i can only assume hard to take down. i think he will push any fighter who comes toward him. as far as skill it seems his chin is good and he defiantly a good wrestler, hard striker. i can only imagine him being a bb in judo and bjj or any submission combat along side of wrestling
