Carlos Condit vs. Nick Diaz The Rematch Expected

UFC 143: Diaz v Condit

After pressure from fans and threat of retirement from Nick Diaz. The UFC unofficial announces a rematch between the interim UFC welterweight champion Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz.

@justScrap85 @carloscondit @malkikawa the rumor is true. Carlos did accept the fight today and Carlos is coming on Friday not thur.

The powers that be must have offered Condit a sweet deal to accept a rematch with Diaz and not wait for a title shot with Georges St. Pierre.

The fight was close the first time. How do you think the rematch will go down?

It wasn't close, it was unanimous. When was the last time that the Diaz brother admitted defeat? Nick Diaz has be rewarded or excused for bad deeds time and time again by screaming injustice.

      I had DIAZ 1, 2 & 5. CONDIT winning 3 & 4 very convincingly.

Regardless, it should still be a great fight and there is time before GSP is ready to go. This rematch should shut everybody up.

Really good move by Condit. Even Joe Rogan came out and said he now think Nick Diaz won. Condit doesn't want people to think he's a fake champion.

although i felt condit narrowly lost this fight, i'm anticipating handicappers have him favored for the next one.

You're probably right. But I don't know because of the bjj that Diaz showed at the end of the 5th. If Diaz actually goes to the ground I think he showed he can dominate Condit there.

I don't see how anyone thinks Condit lost that fight. Easily 4-1 Condit if not 5-0. Here is the fight breakdown not that this necessarily tells the whole story of the fight but nonetheless.

LoL. Aldo your on crack. I'm a Condit fan, but if you think he won 4-5 rounds you need to reexamine your mma knowledge. Nick Diaz is one of those fighters that make fightmetric useless.

Thats why I said it doesn't necessarily tell the whole story. Maybe learning how to read again?
