Dan Hendo Henderson, through an interpreter told the Brazilian news magazine site Tatame that we have it all wrong:
“That’s not true, this fight was never offered to me … “Steroids might be killing Vitor’s neurons, he’s getting crazy to say something like that”.
Vitor told the magazine that he took the UFC 142 Anthony Johnson fight after many fighter including Dan Henderson had turned it down.
The two have a long history together stemming back to PRIDE 32 in which Hendo defeated Belfort by decision, following the fight Belfort tested hot for roids.
Could this be a grudge match in the making for the UFC?
