Thanks for the post, but the grease gate contro started a couple days after their fight.

I used to like Dana but the guy has become unbearable and even I can't stand him anymore. I used to defend this guy but now I don't care what he thinks. I understand it's a business but he's just all about marketing and not putting the best against the best anymore. He's done a lot but I know for a fact that if he was replaced by someone else, many top fighters outside the UFC will come to fight in the octagon.

Does canada get the news like a month after us yankees do?

I like Dana man. He's funny and cool, and most guys that are fighting in the UFC seem to like him just fine. He's tough and doesn't take shit and thats why people don't like him. Best against the best? Didn't we just see GSP and BJ fight? Couture/Lesnar? Mir/Noguira? Rampage/Wandy? Griffin/Evans? Yea I think he's doing just fine, with bigger and better fights to come this year.

Al, the UFC does put on great shows but I Lesnar fighting Couture after Lesnar beating Heath Herring following a loss to Mir? And how can he even think that Machida doesn't deserve the title shot against Evans before Rampage. That's what is reallying getting under my skin is that he won't give Machida the title shot because of his marketability compared to Rampage's. That's the only reason why Lesnar got the title shot, because he is a big PPV draw. That's all it's about, sit there and tell me that Rampage deserves a title shot after beating Silva and Jardine when Machida has been undefeated in the UFC.

Your right David, Machida does deserve the title shot before rampage. I'm hoping rampage wins it back and machida wins it from him. And don't get me started on Lesnar, I think Cheick Kongo deserved a title shot before him, but Brock is an up and comer and proved that against Couture, my favorite fighter. I'm hoping Mir submits Lesnar again and puts him in his rookie place. It can be a little screwy at times, but it usually works itself out. I understand exactly what your saying though.

Al, I agree with you that Kongo deserves a shot at the title, but he is no match for Mir or Nog. The only way Machida coild beat Rampage or Evans is to run the cage on his bicycle like he did in the Ortiz fight (BORING).

dude i dont think kongo deserves a shot ya brock lost but he lost to a former champ who is the current interum champ after he thrashed him then got caught by a sub. brock didnt deserve a shot but neither does kongo. kongo freaken just lost to herring who brock dominated. all kongo haas done since then is beat to nobody's. kongo better beat somebody real before he gets a shot. neither brock or kongo deserved a shot but brock is the champ now so people need to live with it. if you ebat the champ ur the fucking man to beat until proven otherwise. werdum should have gotten a shot before anyone.

I dont think Kongo deserves a title shot for the same reasons Dane mentioned. Plus he doesn't have a fan base. I think its because he's got to be one of the cockiest fighters in the game. And he doesn't put it on the line to win. He gave up mentally in the Herring fight.

Dane and Kash, thanks for correcting me. I forgot about the Herring fight, where he was dominated and showed he had no ground game. What about Gabriel Gonzaga.

Gonzaga had lost to Randy and then to Werdum so he didn't deserve one either. At that time, Lesnar was scheduled to fight Kongo but they scrapped it so Lesnar can fight Couture. Werdum had a fight scheduled for Junior Dos Santos and at that time, they shoulda scrapped the Werdum – Santos fight so that Randy could fight Werdum. Although Werdum lost vs AA, he beat Gonzaga and Brandon Vera which in my opinion were better fighters than Heath Herring.

But for Dana, it's about marketability and he's trying to please the fans like RatAttack68 who think Machida is boring.
