Business Mogul and real estate developer Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a press conference on Thursday detailing a new partnership with the MMA promotion Affliction. No specifics on the deal were given, but it now seems like another billionaire is set to stick its thumbs in the MMA pie. Here’s a clip:

“I have been a fan of professional sports since childhood, and I am particularly impressed by the athleticism, courage, and strength of these disciplined athletes.” said Donald J. Trump. “This particular sport resembles my business style of being fast paced, strategic, and aggressive…remembering to never give up. I am particularly excited to partner with Affliction and become a major player in promotion of MMA; the youngest and fastest growing sport to emerge in the last century.”

“Affliction Banned” is slated to go down on July 19th from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Headlining the event is undisputed PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko (27-1) taking on former 2-time UFC heavyweight champion Tim “The Maine-iac” Sylvia (24-4).

Dude come on, seriously when someone mentions theres an MMA fight, they immediatly think UFC, thats been embedded into everyone mind that the UFC is MMA. Now Donald backing Affliction is great i just dont see them becoming anything close to the UFC. Remember donald has been bankrupt quite a few times.
