  • Kuniyoshi Hironaka defeats Motoki Miyazawa by TKO (Cut) in R1.
  • Hideo Tokoro defeats Takeshi Yamazaki by Unanimous Decision.
  • Yoshihiro Akiyama defeats Katsuyori Shibata by Submission (Choke) in R1.
  • Alistair Overeem defeats Mark Hunt by Submission (Keylock) in R1.


  • Shinya Aoki defeats Caol Uno by Unanimous Decision.
  • Eddie Alvarez defeats Tatsuya Kawajiri by TKO (Punches) in R1.
  • Joachim Hansen defeats Kultar Gill by Submission (Armbar) in R1. – Reserve Bout


After an impressive win for Eddie Alvarez in the semi-finals, DREAM officials announce that Joachim Hansen will replace Alvarez in the lightweight grand prix finals, due to a cut above Alvarez’s right eye. Big disappointment, as Aoki and Alvarez would have been a great conclusion to the DREAM lightweight grand prix.

    this may have been the best card of the weekend, great fights great show and production, alvarez in another fight of the year type fight.dram has only put on 5 shows so far and everyone has been amazing this one may have been there best.
