  1. Kimbo vs shamrock is not the worst fight in the world ok!

it's not the best but it's not the worst. this is mma anything can happen. thats no.1 no.2 bretts is not going anywhere, ken could retire any day now he is a great pioneer of the sport and i don't turn my back on a fighter whose just because he not winning. i still enjoy seeing ken fight. everyone wants kimbo to lose and he will everyone in the sport will. but right now. lets get the fan base up so these fighters who train so hard can feed there familys and build up the money for promotion ok!

Well if only it were so simple, do you see Bas Rutten flying over to the uk to stand there, look like a prick taking a beating, my point is this Ken is old, he is still in my eyes the most dangerous man in the world, why on earth he flew to the UK and stud up with a chump and got KO'd smells only likes fix to me. There aint no way that Buzz of cage rage would ever beat KS…Come on what the fuck is going on here!

This is such a stupid fight Ken is so old he hasnt had anything since he fought tito the first time. Knocked dead in the first round, Kimbo wins. they got to give kimbo somebody with speed and strength not old man river, i want to see what Kimbo really has. Let him fight Huston Alexander or someone of that caliber.

Jas Ken is a peice of shit standing buddy. He has no heart. Ever se him fight Sakuraba? He did the same thing he did against Tito he covers up like a little girl and when the ref stops it he gets out of his little ball he curls into and complains about the stoppage and I dont see anything different happeining here. I kimbo does lose to Ken Shamrock then he has no bussiness even training in a MMA gym.Ken is a fucking piece of shit.

This whole card looks terrible. I am sure we will all watch, but more than anything to be entertained (not in a MMA way but closer to a WWE way) and because it is free. Would anyone fork over $40 if this was on PPV? I wouldnt. Ken is a pioneer that needs to hang it up. He needed to hang it up about 5 years ago. He is a joke. He is just doing it for the money but it is a joke. But Elite is not stupid. Putting in Ken vs. Kimbo is a win all around. #1. Ken is a huge name that will draw that have viewship skyhigh. many of these watchers are not true MMA fans that think "Oh, Elite is putting in a top name against Kimbo, I guess they are picking his matches." little do they know that Ken is nothing this is just another ploy by the WWF, I mean Elite, to draw fans. Remember, they have this show and one more on their CBS contract. If they want to be back, they need to produce stronger ratings than their second show. #2. They can say that they are putting in a great fighter with a big name against Kimbo, trying to convince fans that they are not setting Kimbo up to keep winning. Again, many not true MMA fans will buy that because they have heard of Ken. But we know the truth. We know that Ken is washed up and does not stand a chance. #3. If Kimbo wins (which he should), they will say that he beat a big time fighter. Again, we know that is crap. #4. If Ken wins, they will spin by saying "see, we put in top fighters aginst Kimbo and with him being beat, it proves that we are not babying him. Again bull shit because if Ken wins, it will be a true surprise to everyone and will screw up Elite's plans.

Ken needs to give it up. Obviuously, Ken's ground game is much better but it seems like he forgot that he was once one of the best ground fighters in the world. I don't think it has been a coincidence that as he has not won a fight in about 5 years and in that time, he has tried to battle everyone standing.

What we need to see is the Ken Shamrock who tapped out Bas Rutten years back, that Ken is one mean mo fo, but i dont think we'll ever see him return as his age is getting on top of him.

  7. Luke

Im looking forward to Shields vs Daley. All this hype about Ken vs Kimbo is just stupid. Jake Shields should headline this event but because Kimbo is fighting someone people actually know they have to put him on top billing. I hate all this Kimbo hype… Nothing against the guy personally but what credentials did he have coming into MMA? Fighting in back yards is not exactly olympic level wrestling or a BJJ black belt. Ken is old and is done in this sport i hope he wins……….. But he wont!

Go Daley! 1st English champ in a US promotion!

I didn't even know Shamrock fought Sakaraba. Sakaraba is a damn good fighter. Yeah, I agree with you Steve, with a little less animosity towards him. He needs to retire, start a gym or something. His defense is horrible. I wouldn't say Kimbo's ground game is really that good at all though.

haha hey it happens…but yes he should definitely retire. Although i think he may have a shot against Kimbo if the old man can take him down.
