UPDATE: Failed Medicals: Derek Brunson Out Against Jacare Souza [Strikeforce]

Today Strikeforce announces undefeated 3-time Division II All-American wrestler Derek Brunson will not be fighting Jacare next on March 3rd at Strikeforce “Tate vs. Rousey” due to the failing of his pre-fight medicals. No details were given about what could have lead to the failed tests.

Strikeforce is currently looking for a suitable replacement.

Strikeforce “Tate vs. Rousey” — is set to go off on March 3rd at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus Ohio.

Failed medicals = eye exam lol . I’m blind mf-ers … Ok here’s the deal … I’ve been fighting with contacts for 11 fights (9pro,2ams) never was an issue.Ohio won’t pass my eye exam…. Stevie Wonder can play a piano blind & blind people can drive cars , but i can’t fight with contacts
