See even all you Fedor lovers, even He is very impressed by Lesnar.
August 13, 2008 at 4:11 am
im impressed with lesnar too, could maybe even say a fan, but I don't think hse ready to jump in the ring with fedor just yet, got a long way to go before hes ready for that.
August 13, 2008 at 4:38 am
fedor would kill him, he is not ready for that.
August 13, 2008 at 4:55 am
Brock Lesnar may not be ready for someone like Fedor, but i have all the respect for Brock, he ducks no one. He wants to fight the best and he is fighting the best. He could have easily taken fights with chumps, to push his record to an impressive number, but he is not like that. Brock is the future of the heavyweight division. He is only getting better and he is going to become more of a monster with each fight he has. Unlike, Kimbo Slice, who has taken a much easier road to success.
August 13, 2008 at 5:28 am
I am so sick of everyone putting Kimbo in the same sentacne with Lesnar, that is such a disgrace to him he is in another league than Kimbo by far. As far as a fight with Fedor and brock, dont coutn the chickens before they hatch, Lesnar at this moment would hold his own in their, you cant say he would win or lose, ready for that sort of fight no but you cant say he would lose either becasue no one knows that answer.
August 13, 2008 at 6:59 am
Lesnar could control Fedor on the ground easily but I'd see Fedor catch him in a submission. Lesnar's wrestling skills plus his strength will enable him to take down any1 with ease.

Go to http://www.FedorDVD.com and learn from Fedor himself!
August 13, 2008 at 7:39 am
Sure he is impressed because he knows he can destroy him. Fedor is impressed with any fighter he knows he can beat in a potential future fight. Fedor ducks the best and fights to impress.
That would honestly be the only way Fedor would beat him but honestly i dont see him getting caught in an arm bar as you saw what he did to Mir when he tried that, he practcily ripped Mir apart by breaking out of the attempt. Each fighter is extremtly different and unique and i both present a threat to eachother and i have to say based upon lesnars size an dquickness lesnar does have the upper edge in a fight with anyone even Fedor. His strength can not be matched and that is really hard to deal with even for someone like Fedor. The MMA world has never seen the likes of BROCK LESNAR.
August 13, 2008 at 7:54 am
tim lesnar is great and has done better than almost anyone could ever do walking in with little experience, he could give anyone a hard time and beat most people, he would not beat fedor and would not have the upper hand.its incredible where he is at in a short time but still has not fought a top 10 hw and won't beat the #1 hw anytime soon.maybe one day but not for awhile.
August 13, 2008 at 9:01 am
Lesner still needs better trainers. He already has a pretty good skill set, but imagine what he would be like if he spent some time at lets say exteam coture
August 13, 2008 at 9:51 am
Come on, Kimbo would absolutely walk through Lesnar. No, not really. I agree with you Tim, about Lesnar, and I'm starting to love the fact that people think down on him because of WWE. I think he could control Fedor if he got him to the ground, but Fedor is quite maneuverable. I also think Fedor could catch Lesnar in the chin, granted, it might take several punches to that horse chin he has. I don't know, I still say teach Lesnar more BJJ and sharpen his standup, add that to his strength, speed and wrestling background, he will be absolutely unstoppable.
August 13, 2008 at 10:32 am
Lesnar doesn't know enough bjj to compete with Fedor. He is a fish out of water in any other situation other than controlling his opponent or taking the back. Then when he takes the back he can't do anything but hold. Fedor would kill Lesnar.
August 13, 2008 at 10:53 am
I don't think Lesnar would get killed but I do think Fedor can beat every Heavyweight right now.
August 13, 2008 at 1:30 pm
that would be a very interesting fight. i think fedor would have the solution to defeating lesnar on the ground. but in the same breath either could get knocked out with each others power. i would like to see a best out of 5 from these two if they fought. it would probably even out really well.
August 13, 2008 at 2:11 pm
kimbo was all hype. after him pairing up with bas, i thought kimbo would turn into a great fighter, but i was wrong. you need to have some kind of wrestling background if you're starting that late into MMA. kimbo only had a football and brawling background. he would be good for boxing, but not mma. lesnar has at least wrestling experience, and it clearly showed in his fight with herring. herring isn't a top 5 heavyweight, but he is better than most and he has hung in there with the best heavies, including fedor. brock should fight kongo next to move up. fighting shane carwin would be a step down. even fighting fabricio werdum would be a real step up as well.
August 13, 2008 at 2:31 pm
i love watching brock fight but i dont think he is ready for werdum yet he needs ATLEAST one more fight and two more training camps
August 13, 2008 at 11:23 pm
I loved to watch Fedor vs Lesnar…so i can see Fedor pummels Lesnar's face like he did to Sylvia..then choke him to teach him a lesson to respect his opponent and be humble…..geesss he defeated who??? He cannot even finish Hearing in first round when he has the chance..I give credit to Hearing for fighting and staying till 5 round with him.
August 14, 2008 at 12:43 am
First off, lesnar would throw Fedor around like a ragdoll, you cant match that sort of power and speed that he has. Fedor only way would be to get a submission. and seriously you cant put Sylvia in the same class as Lesnar anymore, lesnar is a very different and better fighter than Sylvia is by far and is a much greater threat as well. Did it ever occur to you that Lesnar didnt finidh the fight cause he wanted to gain ring experience and to prove a point with Herring and to shut his team up and basically FU see i proved you wrong after all the smack that Herring team was saying all along before hte fight. Man get your thoughts strait and do us all a favor and dont write again until you have you facts covered and can back it up with the truth. There is nothing i said here that isnt true.
August 14, 2008 at 12:44 am
Oh and the fight with Lesnar and Herrring was only 3 rounds not 5 as you stated….
August 14, 2008 at 1:29 am
"First off, lesnar would throw Fedor around like a ragdoll, you cant match that sort of power and speed that he has."
So Lesnar is the best HW?
August 14, 2008 at 2:17 am
you cant say lesnar is the best heavyweight just by one fight….heath herring is a tough dude but he's not even top ten….how much better he's gotten definitely got my attention but there's not way that he could beat fedor…kevin randlemann is a big guy as well and he threw fedor around but fedor still got the win
August 14, 2008 at 2:20 am
don't get carried away, lesnat wouldn't be throwing fedor around like a ragdoll, he didn't even throw herring around like that and did not finish him like fedor did, lesnar still needs to beat some top fighters and sylvia is higher ranked than lesnar.also werdum would beat lesnar at this point and fedor could beat lesnar with more than a submission.
August 14, 2008 at 2:47 am
So you all know everything dont you….the only thing you know are assumptions and your own opinions( theres nothing wrong eith that)…the truth lies when the fight happens. Based upon from we have seen in lesnars last 2 fights my personal opinion is that he is a much better fighter than Sylvia ovniously much stronger and much faster and as alot of people in MMA have sais the MMA world has never seen the likes of Lesnar before so you cant compare him to anyone, Randleman was strong but not nearly as explosive or fast and not nearly as powerful with his punches, that is twice now that lesnar has thrown 1 punch and has rocked the person so hard that they fell backwards. I will say it again lesnar did not finish the fight most likely becasue of 2 reason, either he realized he had this fight won and wanted to gain some valuable fight time and experience or he was just out to prove to Herrings camp that he could dominate him anyway he wanted an herring couldnt do a damn thing about it as in herring couldnt get lesnar off of him. Honestly Lesnar vs Fedor would be a close fight at this stage of lesnars career, you cant say he would win or lose and you cant say fedor would dominate him either. but you can say this the MMA world has never seen the likes of Brock Lesnar, he is too fast and powerfull for any fighter and the only way you will beat him is by submission and just think in 2 years from now he will be unstoppable maybe even before then. bottom line is Brock Lesnar is someone that all fighters should watch out for. Sure he has alot to work on all fighters do but given his natural athletic ability and size, speed and strength damn honestly there really isnt anyone who can match that and at this stage in his career that is scarry cause he is so new.
August 14, 2008 at 3:04 am
you forgot the third possible reason he did not finish herring- he didn't know how.i'm not saying thats the reason but it is the most likely with his inexperience he did not know how to finish it-i think if he threw a couple more shots when he was on top he could have ended it there where a few times through the fight where all he did was control herring and not alot of offense.
August 14, 2008 at 3:07 am
Possibly but he was throwing some NASTY knees honeslty i feel he just wanted to punish him but we will never know only Brock will.
August 15, 2008 at 4:25 am
Check out this one too from Sports Illustrated..
August 20, 2008 at 2:51 am
first off a fight between fedor and lesnar will not happen any time soon , fedor has a contract with M-1 and is currently fighting for Affliction, but even if the fight did happen fedor is so much of a superior fighter that the fight would not last long lesnar would get submitted quick
due to his lack of experience,Fedor has fought top fighters in mma. lesnar will have his hands full when he goes up against fighters like Noguera, Kongo,
August 20, 2008 at 4:28 am
Lesnar still has alot of work to do, he had full mount several times and didnt get much out of it, thats when a guy that size should just destroy his opponent. He needs to become more efficient or it could cost him in the long run. Still has a shit ton of potential as long as he sticks with what he is good at (wrestling) and strives to improve he should be the champ before we know it.
August 20, 2008 at 6:41 am
Okay once and for all…That was Lesanrs game plan in the fight gain control and use it to your advantage, his game was not to try and work for a submission or Take mount and put him in a postion to risk losing the dominant postion, it was to gain control and keep it and lash out a beating and lesnar did just that stayed in dominant postion and lashed out some shots and Knees.. remember you have to think like a fighter to understand the fight and also listen to post fight press conference where lesnar simply states just that that was the game plan.
August 20, 2008 at 7:10 am
DUDE, I GET IT, but sooner or later hes gonna have to stop leaning on people and fight.
August 20, 2008 at 7:55 am
Thats where his training comes into play…all in due time he is still new to the MMA game but not new to contact and wrestling he is establishing a comfort zone and now he will expand his knowledge and grow upon this but honestly i think he fights smart…he has a game plan based upon the fighter he is facing and sticks to it…he is a smart fighter but definetly needs to develope his game more but i have never seen someone so new being is such a postion as his..great things will come him all in due time
August 21, 2008 at 8:13 am
Well Tim i remember a wrestler who defeated a top ten heavyweight in his 4 fight, what was his name? Kazuyuki Fujita, I remember that in that fight Fujita was the underdog and he won by desicion against Mark Kerr who was undefeated and was a top ten fighter. So Brock is nothing new.
August 21, 2008 at 10:01 am
Brock is something new. He is the only mainstream wrestler in USA to become a MMA fighter. He is a freak and like Tim is saying he needs time before he can roll for an armbar or go for the kimura. If u dont feel comfortable doing it then why risk it? He will become MUCH better with experience. Yes it would be nice to see him go a lil harder but you cant blame him for Herring not putting up a fight.
September 3, 2008 at 3:44 pm
I lost all respect for brock when he commented on Fedor:
"After several media questions about Fedor, Lesnar finally snapped and said,
"Who gives a s— about Fedor? I'm fighting Randy Couture. I don't give a damn about Fedor. I'm sick and tired of hearing about f—ing Fedor."
September 3, 2008 at 6:42 pm
I would love to see him try and mess around with fedor in the cage and repeat his statements to fedors face:)
September 4, 2008 at 2:20 am
Lesnar is just a motherfu**er with a big mouth and limited skills.
September 4, 2008 at 4:02 am
Who has lesnar fought? He has had 3 fights . Fedor should be undefeated , Only loss coming from a cut doctor stoppage . Almost 30 wins facing some of the best fighters in the world . Not the best fighters in the ufc the best fighters in the WORLD .
Fedor is pound for pound the best fighter in the world. He has fought bigger guys then lesnar . He would tap lesnar in under 2 mins .
Even if lesnar learns bjj he will still never be able to compete with some of these guys that have been doing it for much much longer . Look at his fight with Mir. He rocked him . Now granted the ref standing them up and taking the point from lesnar gave mir a chance to get back on his feet and start again , and who knows what would have happened if the ref didnt make that stupid call, but he got Mir down again and gave him his leg and was done after that .
Fedor > Lesnar for a very long time .
September 4, 2008 at 5:44 am
Fedor>Lesnar for ever. Lesnar is just one year younger than Fedor and Fedor has 8 years of experience, 7 years more than Lesnar.
September 4, 2008 at 3:02 pm
i just saw a fixed fight on hdnet dream fights 1 Hidetaka monma hayato sakurai at 606 in the first round he missed his knock down punch or the one that should have knocked him out i have DVR and watched it frame by frame
September 5, 2008 at 12:55 pm
Lesnar is a nobody in ufc. Just wait until couture gets ahold of him and kicks the crap out of him. He has no talent at all. he thinks he can over power everyone and that he can knock everyone out and he is very wrong. Get noguria in there and he will tap him out faster than mir did. He is just a joke and anyone who thinks he is any good just likes him because of that fake crap he came from. I wish i could get paid to be fat and lay on top of people and act like a bad ass.
September 5, 2008 at 1:48 pm
brock is a wanker and all he has is size -one big mother fucker no brains………….
September 5, 2008 at 1:51 pm
brock lesner??? fuck him You need fighters like fedor and wanderlei silva all guts put them in the ring and they just go for it win or lose……
September 5, 2008 at 4:22 pm
Tim you seem to be stuck on lesnar and why he did or didnt do certain things. Dude, facts are he is still learning and he demonstrated that when he couldnt take out Herring. No question he won, but it is a question of how he won, not very impressive. Your right no one has seen the likes of him, so why the lose to Mir? Why not a TOTAL domination of Herring. Why hold back in front of family, friends and all his fans? Simple, he is not ready yet!! At this point he is nothing more than entertainment and a mere way to bring more revenue to the UFC Million Dollar Business. Couture is scheduled to fight Lesnar. I hope for Lesnar sake he is ready, for he has already shown everyone that his straight right is his first weapon of choice, then a bull rush and if that doesnt work a take down attempt usually follows. Its not too hard to figure out what he does and doesnt know at this point and I'm sure Couture has already figured that out. Point is Lesnars strengths could be his weakness and we still at this point dont know how well he will responed to a good kick across the head or a solid punch to that big target he calls a head, but we do know how he would respond to a submission hold, dont we? In any case lesnar will eventually lose maybe not now, but he will they all do. Dont get mad its only a opinion.
December 7, 2008 at 12:32 pm
Some of you don't get it, brock is here to stay. He's just getting started and will continue to learn. Hearing was dominated for the entire fight. Brock did what Hearing said he was going to do. Brock played with him and tortured him for the whole fight, get it. Mir fight, lets just say Mir got lucky and caught one of Brocks weaknesses which is his lack of experience. His only other weakness his standup, thats why he takes people down to the mat with a veangence and he contols the mat.
December 7, 2008 at 2:29 pm
garrett binder what's wrong with brocks hearing? he's not deff last time i checked lol jk man im just messing i just cracked up when i was reading how hearing was dominated haha
