One tough Brazilian out, one tough Brazilian In. Thiago Tavares has been forced out of his fight with Melvin Guillard at The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale on June 9th, due to a arm injury suffered while training.

Replacing him is American Top Team fighter Gleison Tibau, who is currently on a two fight UFC winning streak since being submitted by Joe Stevenson at UFC 86.

Guillard hasn’t fought since July of 2008, due to a torn ACL injury suffered while training for Spencer Fisher at UFC 90.
