Cant wait to see this whole card and this fight i believe Lesnar will Win IMO….its just his time i think.
October 30, 2008 at 6:52 am
lesnar is 2-1 and though he is new to the game, the UFC is a business at the end of the day… and lesnar is very marketable. it's hard for me to call this fight because randy has proven me wrong so many times before. i thoght sylvia would keep randy at the end of the jab, and i thought gonzaga would crocrop him. lesnar may be inexperienced in terms of number of fights, but he has a stellar wrestling background, incredible athleticism for a guy that size, and has been training with some of the best. word is that there is a BJJ champion that is training lesnar on the ground. randy however is known for his clinch and GnP… but that's if randy can get on top. i have never seen lesnar on bottom in his 3 fights. he could probably bench press you off of him. lesnar has a tree trunk of a neck.. and his chin is unknown. i'm on the fence about this one, but i think randy may pull this off.

But when you state Randy clinch and G&P that is a big factor in his game and i just doint see him doing it to Lesnar
As you already lesnar is too big to stay in the clinch for long…look what happend when Herring had Lesnar in a clinch Lesnar threw Vicious knees and then just took him down with ease and that was 250 260lb man imagine what he will be able to do to a 225lb Randy…everyone keeps saying Size dont matter in this fight…Fuck yes it does and i am not talking just being tall like Sylvia but Monster like with that athleticism and overall strenght and abilities…
October 30, 2008 at 7:15 am
if your facing someone like that…your game plan is very very limited and Randy said he going to try and take down lesnar and G&P well it could happen
October 30, 2008 at 7:16 am
but i am just wondering if Randy can handle Lesnars size and strength and power and speed and the fact is i dont believe he can and that is why IMO Lesnar wins as he is just too much overall for Randy to Control
but one lucky punch could end it or Randy can shock us all again but the fact is Randy has never faced a man like Lesnar…and this should be a great great fight whoever wins.
October 30, 2008 at 7:18 am
I thought i would separate my comments so it would be easier to read…LOL I cant wait for this fight and if Randy Wins Major props to him..
October 30, 2008 at 7:40 am
Can I post or is it still your turn TIM? lol jk
October 30, 2008 at 7:53 am
This should be an awesome fight. We all know Lesnar is inexperienced. His chin and endurance in a tough fight are also unknown. If Randy weathers the initial burst from Lesnar I can see Randy taking control and winning the fight. There are just to many unknowns about Lesnars MMA abilities when he is pushed by a capable opponent. I wouldn't be suprised to see Randy strike with him early to check out his chin and endurance. We haven't seen Lesnar hurt yet and Randy can hurt him. I have to give the edge to Randy. I just don't think Lesnar is ready yet…
October 30, 2008 at 8:04 am
LOL…that was funny Oswald…
October 30, 2008 at 8:06 am
All are good points and although Lesnar is inexperienced he shouldnt be taken lightly…
October 30, 2008 at 8:10 am
Lesnars conditiong is top notch that is not a worry have you seen the man train? not to mention he was known for his conditioning in College wrestling…and we all know wrestlers are the best conditioned….
October 30, 2008 at 8:12 am
Randy will come in great shape like he always does but with all of Randys major skills that he uses in fights Lesnar is that much better and stronger and that posses a huge threat to Randy…i
October 30, 2008 at 8:16 am
I think you are overlooking Lesnars abilities based upon his lack of experience but you shouldnt as this fight can go either way but i just dont see Randy being able to physically control the much Bigger, Stronger more overall Athletic Lesnar…
October 30, 2008 at 8:17 am
The Facts are not in Randy's Favor and alhtough Rnady has proven many wrong before…this is a much different fight than he has ever had in his life…same for Lesnar although Lesnar is the much overall better Athlete with due respect to Randy's abilities Lesnar is just has too much in his favor although Randy has Experience
but Experience doesnt win fights the ability to use the experience and turn it into…cold hard skills and overall athleticism make winners…this is what makes this such a great fight…
October 30, 2008 at 8:18 am
anything can happen but i see Lesnar pulling it out coming out strong and dominating him like he did Herring although i do expect to see Randy put up a fight unlike Herring did…
October 30, 2008 at 8:19 am
This should be a fast paced fight with Lesnar comign out the aggressor and looking for that knock down punch or take down and from there well Randy needs to dig down deep and find a way to survive because wants he is underneath Lesnar there is not way out..
October 30, 2008 at 8:21 am
But as some has stated..there are many factor yet to see with Lesnar…can he take a punch? how will he react if he is taken down? how will he react to being on his back? this should all be answered Nov. 15th well at least can he take a punch? Randy will hit him.
October 30, 2008 at 8:23 am
How about ?'s for Randy in this fight…How will he react to taking a punch from Lesnar? How will he react from being taken down by the much biggers stronger and faster opponent? Will he be able to execute his favorite..the clinch?
October 30, 2008 at 8:25 am
Overall who has the better cardio? Randy will use alot more energy trying to take down Lesnar than Lesnar will use to take down Randy…
October 30, 2008 at 8:26 am
The fact is this Randy is in serious trouble unlike he has never been before and can he shock us all again? i dont think so but we will find out soon…
October 30, 2008 at 8:29 am
Off the subject…Who are your pics to win the NBA Gold this season? i got the Lakers or Celtics.
October 30, 2008 at 8:33 am
There i go again Oswald…what you going to do…LOL JK
October 30, 2008 at 9:23 am
i can see randy trying to draw lesnar into a slugfest in the first round. IF lesnar is able to take randy down at will then brock will win, if not, not telling what randy will try in order to finish it. I also think that if lesnar can land one solid punch on anyone then the fight will be over.
October 30, 2008 at 10:59 am
We will have to wait and see…should be exciting.
October 30, 2008 at 11:01 am
the big thing is that randy's chin is suspect. if he gets caught on the button, he will go down. chuck iced him twice badly. randy keeps claiming that he has wrestled with guys bigger and heavier than brock…. my question is — who might that be??? i can think of bob sapp off the top of my head to be around the same size, but sapp is no wrestler and he is super slow compared to lesnar. again, i ask — who is randy referring to in terms of sparring partners that is equivalent in size to lesnar? i can't think of anybody. lesnar is the biggest they come. lastly, fedor would destroy lesnar. but there is so much doubt when it comes to randy… everyone says randy is #2, but he is more like a distant #4 or 5.
October 30, 2008 at 12:13 pm
I think Tim is trying to get the most posts.
October 30, 2008 at 6:51 pm
Tim man that's hilarious we are making you honorary cagetodays ufc 91 beat reporter
October 30, 2008 at 9:49 pm
ummm Derek … Bob sapp isn't close to the same size. 375 – 265 = 110 lbs That's like saying Lesner and Florian are around the same weight.
October 30, 2008 at 9:51 pm
Nice commentary TIM.
October 31, 2008 at 12:34 am
October 31, 2008 at 12:37 am
Ya Sapp is Huge and on Roids for sure…375 that is huge and its muscle…But as stated Sapp is no wrestler and doesnt posses the abilities Lesanr has…
October 31, 2008 at 12:39 am
Lesnar is pretty big himself at a floating 280 or so and he looks more like he is over 300 for sure but i think that is just due to his Size..
October 31, 2008 at 2:02 am
TIM! Oh my god…hahahahaha
October 31, 2008 at 2:03 am
Thats gotta be a record for back to back post on one single category…haha
If lesnar looses your not gonna kill yourself or anything are you? JK
October 31, 2008 at 2:36 am
LOL Hell no….that was good…anyone can win this fight i just see it going in his Favor thats all…cant wait.
October 31, 2008 at 2:42 am
I agree this is gonna be one sick night of fights! Im lookn forward to "Joe Daddy" and "Kenflo" just as much…
October 31, 2008 at 3:35 am
Heck Ya that should be fight of the night..
October 31, 2008 at 9:58 am
You know what TIM, I totally agree with what you said ("anyone can win this fight i just see it going in his Favor thats all") I see it the same way and that is all I was ever trying to say about this fight. In fact, I think that is probably the best way to sum it up.
October 31, 2008 at 12:56 pm
Shane Carwin is Randy's aparring partner, and he's almost as big as leasnar but strikes better.
is better at MMA
next opponent for fedor
next UFC contenders:
Sea Serpents and Lake Monsters@
October 31, 2008 at 12:57 pm
I'll wait for arlovski fedor…
November 1, 2008 at 2:19 am
I think Mermaids, sea serpents and lake mosters will be the only hard fights to put on. If they end up scrapping them, I'm gonna be pissed. I agree the odds are stacked for Lesnar, but I think Randy can do it. Even if Lesnar loses though, his face won't go away for a while. He has too enormous of potential to walk away. Randy brings up a good point. Lesnar is fast, but with that big body, how well can he change direction? If all that speed is just straight sprint speed, it could pose a problem for him.
November 1, 2008 at 4:20 am
You obviusly do not know wrestling…the base of wrestling is speed and changing direction in a second. Did you not watch the MIR fight when Lesnar was all over him and spun around and MIR said he never knew where lesnar was or the Herring fight when he get on manuevering him into other postions..now i understand strait forward attact with speed but how can someone go at fully speed sideways? what other option is there to go at?
November 1, 2008 at 4:23 am
call me crazy but Randy cant go sideways or different direction full speed..anyways the facts are this what Randy has done in the past to break the odds and win WILL NOT BE A FACTOR IN THIS FIGHT…as Lesnar is not Sylvia or Gonzaga and Randy relies heavily on the CLINCH and Wrestling which he will not have in this fight as his advantage…this is the question to ask how can Randy overcome the Faster, Stronger more Athletic and powerful Lesnar? There are not too many options in Randy's Favor but never count the man out but i just dont see it going in his Favor…this time he can not break the odds and overcome the massive lesnar in my eyes even though most polls have Randy on top for winning.
November 1, 2008 at 4:24 am
November 15th cant come any sooner…
November 1, 2008 at 9:07 am
What I'm saying is changing direction to adapt to Randy eluding him, if he even can elude him. If Lesnar is shooting in, and randy can side-step it, will Lesnar be able to change directions fast enough to either A) avoid a counter strike, B) avoid a takedown from Randy (I don't know how good of an idea that would be), or C) finish the take-down. I don't know the full potential of Lesnar and he may be fast enough to change direction like that, I just don't know. Didn't you see the question marks in my previous statement? That means I am asking a question, because I don't know and I don't pretend like I do. No, I never wrestled, sorry.
