Josh Barnett vs. Gilbert Yvel Set for Affliction “Day of Reckoning”


Dutch striker Gilbert Yvel (35-12-1) will take on Josh “The Babyface Assassin” Barnett (23-5) at Affliction 2 “Day of Reckoning” on January 24th from the Honda center in Anaheim, according to M-1.

    what the hell, they keep naming different fighers every week for barnett, its not that far away i hope they get this settled barnett is one of there big fighters and they should already have this done.

    plus gilbert is so dirty i don't know if they will let him fight in america, last time they said no

    I never saw this guy fight before but he looked pretty good in that clip. I think Affliction is looking long term. If Fedor and Barnet win their fights its going to set up a huge fight between them.

    he has good stand up not great on the ground, his 35 wins 30 ko's and 5 subs so every win he ended the fight but he is the dirtiest fighter ever in mma history and mentally not always there if he starts to lose he will eye gouge bite low blow what ever and he love to get dq'ed

    He got kicked in the balls by wandi and could not continue back in Pride (What goes around.. an' all!)… He had emense stand up but no ground game… he should stick to K1

    Should be fun none the less, It would prolly be a small blow to affliction if Barnett lost.
