James “The Colossus” Thompson had some fighting words alright, but they were geared toward the promotion that he has fought for all year. After losing a majority decision in his fight against former bodybuilder Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 17 last night, he grabbed the mic from the announcer.
In a short rant Thompson said:
F**king joke. Give Mariusz a big round of applause. Come on. What a f**king joke. I thought KSW was really trying to be serious. If you can watch that back and call that serious, then you’re f**ked, and KSW is going down the f**king toilet.
You be the judge, you can watch the fight and post fight interviews.
UPDATE: The decision was changed to a no contest after judge Piotr Baginski admitted to making a mistake on his card.
The two first met earlier this year at KSW 16 when James Thompson submitted Pudzianowski by an arm triangle choke. This fight made for Thompson’s six loss in eight fights after his famous EliteXC loss against Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson in 2008.
KSW 17 took place last night in Poland and featured a roster of former UFC fighters including Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, Jesse Taylor, and Matt Horwich. As you can see below, it was not a very good night for the fighters traveling overseas.
