I don't really think Guida is good enough to talk that much shit. Hell, I think Lashley's wrestling will set him up for some really brutal ground and pound.

Big guys with great wrestling ability combined with some MMA training equals a very good fighter potentially. Not saying much yet but Lashley looks good but he needs to face some better comp…come a guy with a 17-19 losing record sure he has experience but come on at least its better than Kimbo era.

c'mon guys you know thats not real right? that looked very staged to me, guida and lashley are just trying to sell the fight. look they have us talking about right now. anyway lashley is going to ground and pound guida for his second mma victory.

  14. Luke

    March 19, 2009 at 8:37 pm

If that was staged then Bobby Lashley is a much better actor than he was in the WWE. I dont think Guida realises that Bobby is a threat, anyone who is that strong and that gifted of an athlete is a stern test for any fighter.

they say size does not always beat experience but did you see the size difference here wow. hope guida has a nice bed ready for him in a nearby hospital.

kimbo vs bobby lashley would be nice.

I don't even have to wait for the results. Lashley is going to stomp on Guida and then finish him with a flying elbow off the ropes. I might as well bet on this one.

i hope that was a joke. If you havent heard Kimbo is giving up MMA to pursue Boxing..

Jason Guida better pack a lunch and bring a lantern cause I have a pretty good feeling he's in for a long night. I mean Cmon Guidas claim to fame is not making weight on TUF and hes out there running his mouth at least lashley got to get in a ring on TV, what a doushe.

    March 20, 2009 at 8:40 am

thats true. kimbo is going to have 3 more mma fights then move on to boxing.

    March 20, 2009 at 9:33 am

Good call Jack. Strength will play a big part in the fight. If Lashley has any training in BJJ at all, he can muscle his way into and out of many submissions. I am 240 and I roll with a friend of mine who is 175 (When he wants to work conditioning). He is much more experienced than me but I can usually sub. him just because I can muscle my way into and out of subs.

true a conditioned well experienced smaller guy could hang oround a while with a bigger foe but lets face it the days of a 220 lb heavy vs. someone that needs to cut weight to make the 265 limit are gone. they might have to start a new weight division for 240 and up because these new contenders are not just big but athletic and fast. guys like lesnar, carwin and mabey lashey in time will be ruling the division for a while.

he read his "script" from a piece of paper and during the " confrontation " he just stood there and put his hand on the other guys face. yea thats f*cking emmy quality acting right there. i dont watch the WWE so i dont know if he has gotten better. if you think thats real then i feel truly sorry for you. maybe you should go back to watching "real" wrestling ;)

    March 21, 2009 at 3:48 am

Anyone know the order of the fights? I will not be home till late and do not want to miss watching lashley destroy this clown.

  25. Luke

    March 21, 2009 at 4:47 am

It was a joke. They are selling a fight. So what he read from a piece of paper, he was quoting Guida. Maybe you should feel more sorry for yourself for getting so worked up over 2 guys selling a fight at a press conference. As for taking a dig at me for knowing he is a shitty actor…….. pathetic…….just pathetic.

    See ya later squire.

lol love the build up with the comas,,,,,,,,,,,,,classic,,,,,,,,,,, anyway you got me all wrong, im not mad at all i just think if lashley wants to keep the wwe antics he should go back to the wwe thats all. youre the one who seems angry, sorry for making fun of your precious wwe ill never do it again. ;)

  27. Luke

    March 22, 2009 at 4:10 am

Many MMA fighters have pre fight antics, its part of the game. It has been going on in Boxing for years also. Like we have both said they are selling a fight. Do you think UFC 66 would have got a million PPV buys if Tito wasn't been a dick in the press conferences and weigh ins.

And what you call 'wwe antics' goes on in MMA all the time. Rampage Jackson howling, Wanderlei Silva's hand moving thing and intense staredown, Tito Ortiz grave digger routine, Muhammad Ali had catchprases . Shit Naseem Hamed came to the ring on a fucking thrown, tell me that doesn't stink of Pro Wrestling.

  28. LOLZ

    March 22, 2009 at 1:17 pm

wanderlei and jackson getting into a scuffle was real wanderlei doesnt like jackson. tito is gone now with his routine, and ali was big b4 wrestling was huge, barrera didnt need antics to beat hamid like he was a little girl(one of my favorite fights ever). ty for admitting i was right and this was fake very big of you. im just not a fan of this shit i tune in to watch two of the worlds best fight, not to watch them talk shit. since we are in agreement now that this was staged lets end this bs, in ending i would like to state this one more time,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,f*ck wwe,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that is all. lol

  29. Luke

    March 23, 2009 at 1:10 am

Nobody wrote this 'scuffle' so it wasn't excatly staged. They did it off their own backs to try to generate interest in a fight, whts so wrong with that. As a stated before it goes on in MMA and Boxing all the time.

Anyway it seems you got me wrong, im not a wwe fan i am just aware that Lashley was in wwe and so are you. So i guess that makes you as much of a fan as me.

Fighters sell themselves to sell fights, just like adverts create interest in products, when its all said and done, this is buisness and you do whatever you can to make more money and create more interest.

By the way they are not comma's they are full stops.

Thanks for engaging in this debate with me………… see you later…………Mate.
