Michael Bisping On Turning Down Cung Le Fight, Discounting Mark Munoz and Tim Boetsch

Michal Bisping is not looking to make any new friends, the UFC middleweight went on ESPN’s UK UFC podcast to talk about why he turned down a fight with Cung Le and his upcoming fight with Tim Boetsch.

“I was initially offered fight Cung Le, but I don’t want to fight Cung Le … I want to be someone creditable, Tim Boetsch has won four in a row in the UFC.”

“I have never really looked at Mark Munoz and thought he looked like a particularly dangerous opponent. His ground and pound looks good, his wrestling doesn’t look all that dangerous, his stand up is suspect and he’s got a weak chin. I think Tim Boetsch is probably a harder fight.”

Bisping’s quest for the title is now set, he confirmed he has signed the bout agreement to fight Tim Boetsch at on July 7 2012 at UFC 148.

What do you think is Boetsch a harder fight then Mark Munoz?

So this british dude can dictate who he fights and really he is not that good so a match with Boetsch will just mean he will get his butt kicked and he thinks munoz is weak wow this guy must be on some kind of drug

I can't really blame Bisping here. Why would he take a fight with a guy who just lost to Wandi after he was just a split decision away from fighting for the title.

Boetsch is not all that, he was getting his ass kicked by Okami before the KO. Munoz fights similar to Chael Sonnen and would be a hard fight for anyone.

Cung would have been a great fight. Sure Cung loss to Wandi, but he put in ton him before gassing. What I'm trying to say in all this rambling is Bisping's an ass and I hope Boetsch lays him out a la Hendo style.B)
