Randy Couture,

“I haven’t really looked at the cards and the shows that they have. What’s on the schedule, I don’t know, but I’m especially leaning towards dropping down. I’m pushing in weight. It would be easy for me to make 205 and there’s more interesting fights there right now.” [Sherdog]

“The Natural” Randy Couture might be looking to the UFC light heavyweight division to finish out his newly signed seven fight contract with the UFC. His reign as giant killer might be coming to an end, the UFC heavyweight division his getting more talented and heaver year after year. Even Dana White has been quoted saying that he like to see Couture fight at 205. Who wouldn’t love to see Couture mix it up Tito Ortiz or Shogun.

Lot of options for Randy at 205. Love to see him and Machida or Anderson Silva.

he'll get a good win at 205 like against jardine or something and then he'll lose in a hell of a fight to a top 205er and he'll get paid a shitload of money and then he'll retire and then he'll make more movies and then he'll commentate for the ufc and then he'll marry gina carano and have a great great great honeymoon letting her practice her traingle choke on him.

i think randy will hold his own at 205, just has to avoid getting ko'd. machida is on a roll but the rest of the 205'ers are hit and miss. randy vs wandy could be a big fight.

randy has to get in better shape then the nog fight. maybe he just needs more cardio or to train with a high level fighter like anderson or gsp, maybe even fedor since that fight wont happen any time soon if ever. he needs someone elite for training

    randy's still the man

the old dog just needs some new tricks to become an even more rounded fighter. his foot work was horrible in the nog fight and nog worked hard for that fight.
