Well Randy looks like shit with Bruises all over his head and a cut on his ear and some swelling over his whole head and eyes but he give Brock props and says he got caught and the Fedor at this point would tear brock up but that he has alot of potential etc….i totally agree at this point Fedor would beat brock but he would still pose a threat to him now but Brock is so young and new to this sport and can only get better and that is scarry.

I didn't realize Brock caused that much damage. I wonder if Brock's cut over his eye is even bad.

Whats funny and annoying is that on every mma site every time a guy wins a big match, people have to try and shit on his parade and say oh well Fedor would crush him. Its as if people didnt already know that Im really sick of it. On Sherdog they have whole Forums dedicated to dudes making lists of guys who could beat other guys, and some dude actually put Fedor on the list of people who could beat featherweight champ Mike Brown. Are we being serious these people will never fight Lesnar Fedor might might might happen. but these guys who only post about superfights and do shit like this:

    Fedor vs Lesnar

    Lesnar vs Silva

    Couture vs Penn]

    GSP vs Fedor

Couture and Hong man Choi vs Fedor and Lesnar in doubles tennis

all that garbage has to stop leave him alone when the phillies won the world series they didnt say : well when the phillies have to play the AL all star team they will get crushed.

Word is Lesnar got 4 stitches but other than that post fight vids he looks fine…but Couture DAMN he took a beating and those little baby shots as someone stated really did some damage just image if they were Adult shots..LOL seriously some people need to get a life and stop wasting there time thinking of stupid as fights that will never ever happen. Also no matter how good someone is someone will always talk shit on that person…when Lesnar best Randy its now well Fedor would kill Lesnar…lol right now i would say he would beat him but in 3 years fuck NO…lesnar will be nearly unstoppable by then. He will lose of course thats just a given but he will only get better and as long as his drive to succeed and get better is there the sky is the limit for him. He will have a good test next year in either NOG or Mir.

Ok guys I agree on most of things u r saying but 1 thinkg I dont agree with is that when Tim said 3 years from now if fedor will beat him HELL NO. Sorry Tim but Fedor has too good of hands and submissions. 3 yrs wont make him good even close to as good as Fedor on the ground or standing. But he will be a top heavyweight even then and five almost everyone else a challenge. Lesnar will always be able to be submitted and Randy caught him a few times. So there are still holes in his stand up and all that. Overall I think he is so big and strong that most guys in the UFC just cant handle it. But no matter how much time goes by I dont think he will ever be very solid at BJJ. Whats crazy is fedor is only 32 yrs old and he is possibly and IMO the best mma fighter of all time. But Lesnar is for sure awesome and poses a threat for just about anyone.

i have to disagree with you steve lesnar poses a threat to EVERYONE

i dont think he is the best fighter and i dont think he's better than fedor but a man his size, his speed, and his wrestling ability and strength

he is most definetly a THREAT to anyone on the planet

he has dropped all of his opponents in the ufc and thats makes him very dangerous even to fedor

  10. steve

    November 16, 2008 at 7:54 pm

LOL dane im not getting into an arguement about if he poses a threat to everyone in the world or not. Saying he poses a threat to just about anyone is a good thing and I dont think its possible to say he poses a threat to anyone since there are guys that are more athletic stronger and bigger. Sorry bro but he poses a threat to almsot everyone in the world. Nobody can beat up everyone in the world at least in my opinion. That is why I said almost everyone.

oh please, watch lesnar relinquish the belt if fedor were to sign with the ufc. fedor needs to stop bullshitting around and sign. his legacy won't be solidifed until he does. he has already fought over in renowned pride over in japan… and now he must fight in the UFC over here. i believe fedor will steam roll through andre. arlovski does everything well, but he suffers from a weak chin. fedor likes to throw two hard punches and then clinch. it'll be bad news for andre. once he beats arlovski, who is left in affliction? josh barnett, but then who else? maybe jeff monson? fedor will be done with affliction HW contenders by mid 2009. by then, shane carwin and velazquez should be top contenders. mir, nog, and lesnar should all still be up there. i for one was not impressed with randy's performence. compared to his past two fights, randy could not control the fight in the clinch as he shold have. lesnar will fight winner of nog-mir. loser of nog-mir shold fight randy.

I'd like to see fedor fighting top guys whoever they are. Not the hong man chois or the zuluzino's ,not the old ass marc colemans or the lower weight classed Linlands. Sure he beat CroCop but ummmm ….so did Kongo and Gonzaga. And his fights with Noguiera were in 2005. Tim Sylvia was a step-up in recent competition. Take that how you will. I think Fedor is a great fighter but I like seeing the best fight the best. There are/were better fighters than those on his record.

I'd really like to see him fight Barnett. I like the difference in styles and Barnett can take a punch. I'd rather see Fedor fight Lesner than Randy. Randy proves to be knockout prone if hit somewhat cleanly and Fedor hits HARD.

Lesner has fought Mir, Herring and Couture all in 2008. That's a lot better competition this year than Fedor has fought in the last 3 years.

    November 17, 2008 at 3:11 am

great points jake and derek. If fedor wants to have the greatest legacy then go fight in the octagon. he needs to hurry up and sign before he uses his age as an excuse to not fight as much.

aa will be more elusive than tim silva. He is also more athletic. Fedor will win but it will be a good fight.

  14. roy

    November 17, 2008 at 4:17 am

why would he need to go to the ufc? who is there for him to fight? the best hw's are fedor nog barnett and aa, he is about to fight aa he already beat nog 2-3 times and barnett is not with the ufc.

  15. Tim

    November 17, 2008 at 5:01 am

Roy i have to disagree with you on this one, In order to call yourself the best fighter in the world or in weight class you need to beat every top ranked fighter otherwise its just specualation that your the best but its not official. Fedor hasnt fought anyone good in the last 3 years except for maybe Sylvia and although he is a great fighter and one of the best he still needs to prove his legacy by fighting top notch fighters. Below is a list from MMA news.com of the top HWGHTS in the world. Now Fedor has beaten some of them and if he beats AA that would be a great start to complete dominance. Yes i believe in 3 years Fedor would get beat by Lesnar right now Lesnar would pose a problem for him but i believe Fedor would beat him right now at this stage in Lesnar rookie career but give him 3 more years of training and another 6 fights and i am sure he would beat Fedor. Word is that Brock is equivalent to a purple belt in BJJ at this stage..thats pretty damn good for someone with less than 3 years of MMA training. He is not the best but give him time to devolop into an overall MMA fighter and for sure Lesnar will create a lasting legacy and could be an MMA legend. Now since Lesnar beat Couture does that make him number 5? or hell even top 10.

Fedor going to affliction was a good move. He gets to fight great hw there like tim, aa, and barnett. BUT it shouldn't be his final move is all i'm saying. Is he the best hw right now, sure. But i would love to see him finish his legacy with a title run in the octagon (which is a totally different fighting strategy than a ring, just ask cro-cop and shogun)

  18. roy

    November 17, 2008 at 5:47 am

tim you proved my point i said why would he come to the ufc most of the fighters on that list are not in the ufc.he is the best already proven.lesnar may be the best one day but he has alot more to prove than fedor.

  19. Tim

    November 17, 2008 at 5:55 am

Hmm…well i see your point and agree but i dont think FEDOR has ever fought in the octagon which is completly different than fighting in a ring just as T.R said…he may have problems adapting…Lesnar has a long way to go but i am excited to see him grow.

  20. roy

    November 17, 2008 at 6:00 am

i don't see that anyone has had a problem adapting- rampage, silva, wandy and everone else that came from a ring cro cops problems where not from the cage more mental and shogun fought 1 fight and had no acl it had nothing to do with a cage so the ring vs cage although there is a difference is not a factor.

  21. Tim

    November 17, 2008 at 6:16 am

Thats a good point but there is alot less room in the octoagon than the ring to work with. Bottom line any fighter is beatable and IMO Lesnar would beat Fedor 3 years from now just my thoughts and he could beat him now but not likely due to his inexperience at the given moment. Well we will have to wait and see what happens.

  22. roy

    November 17, 2008 at 6:51 am

i do agree lesnar could beat anyone right now with a little luck, but could still lose to some guys that are not that good.i don't know about him beating fedor we will have to see how he does with nog.

  23. Tim

    November 17, 2008 at 8:16 am

Anything can happen and we are going to have to wait till next year to see Lesnar fight again…i am guessing sometime around March or April. UFC 96?

We should all be patient for Fedor vs. Lesnar. I have to say all the talk of Lesnar's potential and youth have me confused. He is a big quick superb wrestler with heavy hands and is an aggresive finisher. All great traits in a fighter to sell tickets. His sometimes brash and cocky demeanor enrage some and enthrall others. His is awesome. He brings the sports "entertainment" to the ufc as no one has since Tito in his grave digger hey days. But let us not forget that Fedor is 32 (young), world sambo champion, knockout power in both hands and feet. Fedor is a chain fighter. He is the best at seamlessly transitioning between striking judo bjj sambo etc. Maybe the question isn't how much better Lesnar will be in three years but rather how much better will Fedor be in three years? Lets give Fedor some props for not talking smack and being humble. It seems many of us forget just how rare it is to have a champion with these qualities. I would love to see this fight when Lesnar has the tools developed to compete with Fedor and give him a run for his money.

  25. Cyryus

    November 17, 2008 at 9:14 am

What actually irritates me is all this talk about how Brock Lesnar has all this potential and he's so young and blah blah blah. He's only 1 year younger than Fedor, so really how is it he's going to be able to mature better than Fedor when Fedor has years of experience already up on Brock?

  26. roy

    November 17, 2008 at 9:25 am

great points fedor24 and cyryus, i don't see anyone chatching up to fedor on a mma skill level.oh by the way he is no longer the sambo champ he lost and took home the bronze not bad though 7 yr run as the sambo champ.

  27. Tim

    November 17, 2008 at 9:52 am

I see your point but Every fighter Lesanr has faced has had years and years of experience over him and yet he dominated them all to think that FEDOR would walk right over Lesnar is ridiculous, FEdor is great but even he can be beat and if there anyone out there who could do it would be lesnar and stop looking at Lesnar lack of experience and look at his future and how much experience he has gainined in only 1 year of MMA fighting…Shit seriously in only 1year he has come in with little skill and has adapted and grown those skills and has dominated every fighter just image where he will be in 3 more years..im not saying Brock would beat Fedor and vice versa what i am saying is no one knows this and it will only be speculation and opinions form here on out until it does happen. So stop talking about that and just give Lesnar his glory and see where he grows in the next few years.

  28. Tim

    November 17, 2008 at 9:54 am

Fedor is a great fighter but even the great succomb to defeat…hell lesnar will lose as well its just going to happen.

  29. Cobra Clutch

    November 17, 2008 at 11:06 am

Um…Lesnar already lost to Mir. That didn't take long, did it?

  30. TIM

    November 17, 2008 at 11:11 am

Sure he did but he beat the shit out of MIR before he made a rookie mistake. If he faces MIR again i assure you that will not happen again. i meant that he will lose at some point no that he is champ.

  31. TIM

    November 17, 2008 at 11:32 am

Check this out..very intersting inside the training camps of both Randy and Brock…Brock looks very good and comfortable and will only get better.

i wanted cotoure to win so badly but i knew it wasnt gonna happen. theres no way he could do his clinch game angainst a guy with at least 50 lbs on him and whos a ncaa wrestler cotoures the fucking man but i dont think he couldve won this fight

  33. boink

    November 17, 2008 at 4:35 pm

lets see what happened after the Mir-Nogueira fight. How well will Brock defend his tittle against 2 fighters.

  34. steve

    November 17, 2008 at 5:01 pm

Roy I was the one who pointed out the Fedor and Lesnar age thing and how Lesnar wont catch up to him. No biggie just throw me some credit every once in a while.lol

Tim u dont get it. Lesnar doesnt have the right style to beat Fedor. If he stands he gets pieced up and if he takes Fedor down he gets armbarred no matter how much he trains to defend it. It will happen. Lesnar would have one chance and thats to land a big shot. Sure it could happen but its most likely not gonna happen. Fedor is just too good. As Randy showed Lesnars stand up isnt that great. Randy I thought was winning the fight fight in the clinch and on the feet trading hands. He caught him a couple good times and if randy can get at brock on the feet then Fedor WOW lets just say it wouldnt be pretty. Its not really fair to Fedor or Lesnar to compare the 2 since Lesnar isnt on the same lvl. Lesnar beat a 45 yr old man. Sure randy is great but he is 45. And had been KO'd twice by Liddell. So its not a shock to see him get hit and fall again. I take nothing away from randy but I think that Mir will get beat by Nog and that when Lesnar and Nog fight that Lesnar will get submitted. I dont see Lesnar finishing Big Nog and if u give Nog enough time he will catch u in a submission.

  35. dane drebin

    November 17, 2008 at 5:18 pm

i think if lesnar fights smart he could beat nog just compare how randy out struck sylvia and how nog got dominated on the feet. Brock has the ability to keep it standing i dotn see nog takin him down. i think lesnar could punish nog on the feet if he is smart enough to keep it standing.

and lesnar is definetly a THREAT to fedor if fujita can rock fedor lesnar can. i think fedor would win right now and he is a better fighter by far. everyones says brock wont catch up to fedor's ability but theres a way better chance of brock getting closer to fedors technique than there is of fedor catching up to brocks size, speed, weight, and reach and thats just common sense. to say brock isnt a threat is just retarded because anything can happen in mma especially with soemone brocks size.

  36. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 1:53 am

I totally agree i couldnt have said it better myself.

  37. serge

    November 18, 2008 at 3:21 am

Well, Fedor is a way faster than Lesnar. Just watch his last fight with Timi. It was impossible to see his punches so fast they were.

  38. serge

    November 18, 2008 at 3:29 am

Generally, I would like to say it is Lesnar that has to prove everything. Fedor had already secured his legacy and has nothing to prove. By the way, Fedor is smaller than Randy. he is natural light heavy weight or may be even middle weight. Look how much body fat he has got and without ever cutting weight he is fighting at 230. From what i see, he has 40-50 lbs to lose to look like Randy at 220 lbs.

Fedor is phenomenal fighter and I do not see Lesnar ever reaching Fedor's level. Fight with Randy was a good match up for Lesnar. Now, there are some guys in UFC who can beat Lesnar. Nog, Mir (possibly), Gonzaga and Kongo. Each of them can knock Lesnar out or submit him. He has a lot to prove before he can be considered even top 10.

  39. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 4:15 am

Well if you beat a top 10 level guy in my eyes thats makes you top 10 material and he did so in Randy who is listed at # 5 ranked. True lesnar has some great tests ahead but shit he is only 1year into his UFC career and 2 years training..give the man some credit Fedor has years of experience and i excpect his skills to be more developed than Lesnar at this point but give lesnar another 2-3 years of training and fights and this man will be seriously scarry if he dedicates hmself as he did his first year in training of course.

  40. MW74

    November 18, 2008 at 4:38 am

serge! dude, really??? Kongo?! Are you feeling ok? Gonzaga is way too slow…owch!! KO! and brock won't make the same mistakes he did in their 1st as in a rematch with mir…MAYBE Big Nog, but that's just a maybe. Oh, and if a mir – lesnar rematch does happen, Frank better hope for the same ref to step in and save his ass when brock starts to crush in his skull again

  41. serge

    November 18, 2008 at 5:05 am

We will see:) Mir beating Brock, I doubt it myself. Kongo has a puncher chance. Big Nog and Gonzaga have more chances to beat Brock than Brock beating them. Lesnar is a too much hip. He is a big and strong guy, but seriously, he is a way too old to progress too far. He is already 31 and at this age you gonna be something in MMA. Randy is unique in this case and from what i saw in Randy/ Brock match, Lesnar with all his size , power and weight was not able to dominate guy who was half of his size and 15 years older. Bad sign for Brock.

  42. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 5:17 am

Are you High? Brock dominated the Randy fight you obviously dont know what wrestling is and the clinch…Brock dominated both positions and while Randy put forth a valiant effort he was no where close to winning that fight…Sure he got in a few shots duh its MMA but Lesnars shots were so strong and fast that he couldnt get out of the way. FYI Randy started fighting at the same age as Lesnar did so dont count your chickens before they hatch….Lesnar is in a division of his own when it comes to athletic ability and if there is anyone out there who can make run into MMA at 31 its Lesnar only because of his wrestling background. Wrestling is everything in MMA is the foundation of this sport and a basis for every move in MMA,

  43. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 5:20 am

Lesnar has a long way to go but he is on the right path we will find out how much better he can get with his next fight which will be a challenge.

  44. MW74

    November 18, 2008 at 5:20 am

Not Dominate!? Did it seem to you that brock put in as little effort with randy as it did to me? And yet look at randy after the fight…imagine if brock was actually angry or didn't respect randy enough to go so easy on him. Look how he absolutley DESTROYED Heath herring after all his smack talk…and as far as pro athletes getting on in their age…look to the NFL with Kurt warner and Brett favre…look at Randy…you mean to tell me Brock isn't part of this same type of new age of better physical conditioning? Just watch ONE of this guys training and strengthening sessions…No Way! Just wait til he's in there with another fighter who was dumb enough to run his mouth before the fight. The only reason Randy got off so easy was because of his pre-fight legend status and buttload of respect for Brock in every interview…the second he pissed Brock off( punched and cut him) Randy was waking up from the octagon floor!

  45. MW74

    November 18, 2008 at 5:38 am

When we've all agreed that Brock has unlimited potential, will someone please broach the subject of BJ vs GSP or even Ken Flo(who should be careful what he asks for) Muchas Graci'as

  46. serge

    November 18, 2008 at 5:40 am

If you want to see domination, please watch Fedor vs Timi.

  47. serge

    November 18, 2008 at 5:42 am

The way randy looked after the fight is due to weight and size difference. But otherwise there was no domination. Randy was holding himself until got caught with that big shot. I was thinking randy would lose but i expected real domination from much stronger and bigger Brock.

  48. serge

    November 18, 2008 at 5:44 am

BJ vs. GSP that will be the fight to watch:) i am already salivating!!!! I just have no idea who gonna win but i am all for GSP.

  49. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 5:49 am

Tim Sylvia wasnt that good in fact most of the fighters Fedor has fought were not even that good except for a few…he is like 29-1 or something but only like 10 of those fights were against anyone really good…dont take this the wrong way Fedor is great fighter but dont diss brock because of his lack of expeience thats just a fact he is just starting the sport and look what he has accomplished….his MMA potential is unlimited as MW74 said he is right on. He is still new into his career give the man some props Fedor could not accomplish what brock has done in such a short time with only 2 years of MMA training total included the last year he was fighting. Brock basically won the UFC title with only a years worth of training MMA all together and had to learn intbetween fights this last year and has grown so much as a fighter and will continue to.

  50. MW74

    November 18, 2008 at 5:56 am

Im sick of GSP with his Japanese kamikaze headband, brazilian jiujitsu, french accent, hailing from canada by way of las vegas or whatever he's gonna try to appeal to a broader audience…just be who you are. Some froogy ass cannuck who's outlandishly talented. but really? do we need all the gimmickry?! Come on! This is Not WWE and as seen with Randy, the crowd cheering for you does not influence the other fighters to let you win. Prodigy in two…via submission. Then time to teach Ken Flo his place in the world…3rd at best….but if we are all transported to bizarro world and gsp does win…Spider anyone?!
