Yes Brock was dominating the fight…the first round went to Lesnar 10-9 and lesnar said himself his game plan was to feel out Randy for the first round which he did and then the second round came and look what happened Randy got KO'd and beat to shit. Sure Randy hang in there with him he is great fighter with alot of great skill. Brocks game plans are great and they work for him…if you have noticed in each fight he has had he has had a different game plan..smart fighter while others just stick to what they do best Brock has branched out and becoming more comfortable. I dont think Brock will gas out and that will be a great part of his success for a man his size while he will overwork others.

Tim, you just like Brock:) Actually Fedor achieved much more than Brock when being new kid on the block. His rise was fast and to get the belt he had to beat Big Nog himself in prime. It is already 8 years and Fedor has not lost even once. Regarding Brock, he will lose and quite soon. After that lose, this discussion will have no sense. Fedor is unique and he is number 1. Tim Sylvia is 2 times UFC champion. he beat Andre and a lot of other guys and the way Fedor dominated him while looking even smaller than Randy in comparison to Brock is a very telling thing. Randy simply had no tools to manage Brock. he could not take him down due to size/ weight difference, his submit ion game is so so, he has no knock out power. Let's watch when Brock meet guy who is better suited to put him down.

I dont what it is but i just dont like BJ i know he is a good fighter and all but i think right now GSP is better…Ken Flo looked great

i don't like tim but he is pretty good and more than 10 of fedors fights with with named fighters, you can't really compare fedor and lesnar they both have done great things but fedor is proven to the fullest, lesnar has to beat nog to be the real champ of the ufc.

I am all for watching Lesnar-Big Nog. Big Nog's head is a like a brick. No one has been able to knock him out yet. He is submition genius and his stand up is also good. let's see how Brock will handle guys with more tools to beat him and then we will see.

Brock did look like he was breathing a little heavy towards the end of the first, but I think that was more anxiousness at being so close to realizing his goal andd being in the same ring as randy, who he no doubt looked up to. The interesting thing will be in about five fights when the opposition will have more legit tape of brock to watch and study than he does of them…that's gotta factor in at some point, although, how much by the time he has improved at that point?? because…….DAMN!!! Size xxxl gloves? That's like getting hit with a canned ham wrapped in an oven mit…and did he or did he not hold back on randy? Honestly.

As personality BJ well,BJ is BJ and it says everything about him:)

I would not bet on this fight though. But I want GSP to win too.

Well, all big guns but Big Nog left UFC. Arlovski and Tim would be a good match for Brock. Similar sizes and power.

    November 18, 2008 at 6:11 am

Randy had no tools to manage lesnar? well he had wrestling and proved to be somewhat of an equalizer in that fight even though Brock dominated that as well..face it Brock is just getting better and he would pose a problem for FEDOR right now…Fedor lacks the size, speed and overall athleticism and conditioning not to mention wrestling to compete at that level with brock..also i dont think anyone can get a submission on Lesnar unless its around his waist down like a knee bar..he practilly broke MIRs arms off when he tried to execute 2 arm bar attempts on him and in my opinon MIR is a better BJJ expert than FEDOR but thats just my opinion…Brock matches up very well to Fedor ( atlhough he is inexperienced in his game he would still pose a great threat to Fedor) right now and just imagine in 2 or 3 years how good this guy will be then..you can say FEdor would kill brock all you want but when you really look at it…Brock has a very good chance of beating Fedor right now..sure not a good one but that is only due to his lack of experience in the ring and being comfortable in his skills he is learning but give him 5 more fights and i assure you Brock would be happy to fight Fedor…hell even now he would brock said he only wants to fight the best and nothing less.

oh yeah…and until Fedor fights a true upper tier opponent…we will continue to have nothing but what ifs and hypothetical conversations…Tim sylvia was stinking up the joint by the time he left ufc…and arlovski? Good…better than me…but an insult to Fedor…one fist or foot to that chin, and it's "good night" "thanks for showing up"…Rampage,Wandy,Spider;Randy,Brock,Big Nog,Mir,even with guys like Velasquez coming up…where does Fedor really belong? More gimmick fights against some has-been foreign agency's best fighter or with the best, without a doubt, in the world. If he's just worried about getting paid…enjoy ufc's garbage of yesterday(spelled T-I-T-O) and have fun in the minor league…maybe when he's done he can fight in the wwe

  11. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 6:18 am

Roy thats a good point…and Lesnar will be tested next year and i like how you stated you cant compare Fedor with Brock as they are on two different levels Fedor is matur in MMA where brock is a rookie but that doesnt mean that he couldnt beat Fedor right now..not much of a chance right now but given time to develop and due to his oeverall size and athletic ability he would be a great match up for Fedor i think but lets get past NOG, MIR, Carwin, Velasquez etc… and then we can talk more on that. Fedor is great fighter but he can be beat remember there is someone out there who is always better than you even Brock. Roy is right its not fair to compare the fighters at this stage.

  12. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 6:22 am

LOL…that was funny…i do agree that Fedor should come to UFC and lets see how dominant he really is just because there is a few fighters in there he has beat doesnt mean that their isnt top level talent there. But it wont happen as i believe Fedor wants to protect his image and he knows the possibility of him fighting in the UFC would mean he would face top notch talent that are young and developing fighters who could beat him…Now i dont know why but i am picking AA to beat Fedor i will hopefully be at that fight live.

Wow! How close if you get to go live?! Out here in so cal the tix are wayyyy too eFF'n expensive….I'd have to take out another mortgage on my house…if I hadn't already lost it to forclosure…..(not even laughing on the inside)…But who really, in affliction poses a legit threat. To really solidify his legacy he HAS TO come to ufc. I can't believe that he is afraid…to not do so would tarnish him more than doing so and losing a couple but winning six, seven more…am I crazy to think so? Besides, tell me Dana wouldn't pay him…with a chance to top off the HW division AND put affliction under????

  14. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 6:46 am

I live in So Cal and the only reason i might go is if my dad can get us tickets…he knows some member of the city council of Anaheim and i have used their box suites before for like hockey games and arena football. So he might get them for this too but i dont know. Sorry about the home man…i know its tough and then the fires…my parents live in YL well Anaheim to be exact but if your familiar with that area you will know that Anahiem hills is on one side of the freeway and then you have Anaheim in the middle and YL on the other side…Savi Ranch Area where the fires burned..my parents are okay it didnt reach them they were like 1/4 mile away from where the fires were i went down there on Sunday and damn all along the 91fwy its just black…i feel so bad for them all.

  15. MW74

    November 18, 2008 at 6:53 am

Yeah man! The home is no big thing…just A THING. Got great fam & kids. Glad your folks were ok…I almost got caught in that fire trying to get home for a get together to watch the fight…had to get to green river(goin east) got stopped at YL/Weir cyn…it was on fire slightly…route home…55s-22w-5n-91w-605n-71s-91…Suck a$$ but home and fam safe.

Dude…for real though…UFC mdlwt, wltrwt, ltwt even lhwt but with Fedor in…nobody even comes close to touching any of those divisions…true?!

    November 18, 2008 at 6:55 am

there you guys are wrong, there is no one in the ufc for him to fight that will chage his status and he is not worried about his record or any of that nonsense please, the best heavey wieghts besides fedor is nog(who he already beat twice) aa(who he fights next) and barnett who hopefully one day he will fight. please name who in the ufc is worth him coming to fight?maybe randy but since he lost its not as big if lesnar beats nog(wittch i dout) than you could agrue about lesnar but there is no one there that he needs to fight.

  17. steve

    November 18, 2008 at 7:01 am

Tim of course u agree if somebody said Brock had a small dick u would disagree and agrue that he had one of the bigger dicks in MMA. Sorry but im sick of u acting like he has a great chance at beating Fedor. He is 3-1. He isnt 20-1. He beat Rnady Couture who like u said was overmatched in size and everythign else but yet randy was outsriking him and winning in the clinch. I like Brock but god stop making him into a superman of MMA. He didnt look as dominant to me as he did to u thats for sure. Speed was definelty on Randys side in that fight so throw that thing about him being faster then Randy out and Dane if Mir can pull guard and Submit Lesnar what makes u think that Nog cant do the same thing?

  18. serge

    November 18, 2008 at 7:02 am

Fedor lacks the size, speed and overall athleticism and conditioning not to mention wrestling to compete at that level with brock. LOL!

Well, Fedor lacks only size:) I do not know if you ever watched Fedor fights. He is much faster than any heavy weights. He looks fat, but his conditioning is great. He never was out of breath. Look how he moves, how fluid Fedor is. Look how he knocked down Tim , a guy 30-40 pounds heavier and much taller. What about other fighters Fedor destroyed. I do not kow what you were watching if you say Fedor is not athletic, not fast and not powerful. The guy is phenom. He is absolutely unbelievable and only his looks are very deceiving.

    November 18, 2008 at 7:03 am

Roy…did you see AA's last fight? He almost lost man…and that was to some schlep. There are multiple reasons HE is not in the ufc…and you honestly think that not Rampage,Wandi,MIR,Kongo,Gonzaga,Brock,BigNog,Carwin,Velasquez not ONE of them can beat him??? Share whatever you're smokin bro' cause that is some crazy a$$ $hit! But AA DOES have a chance?! Wow! Not just Wow-but eFF'n WOW!!! How bad is your crush on Fedor? Dude, I dig all the dudes I route for but YOU SIR ARE DELUSIONAL. Much luck with that…

  20. steve

    November 18, 2008 at 7:05 am

I swear its like u dont understand what people would be likely to do lol. Besides the fact that Big Nog can be run over by a truck and still be successful and he can get the shit beat out of him for 3 rounds and still submit u Lesnar could sure beat him but how? I dont think he can actually knock out Big Nog with a punch and he dont kick so how can he win? Go 5 rounds on the feet? Nog will pull guard and sub him and if Lesnar takes him down then he will be submitted. I just find it hard to see how Nog will lose a 5 round fight to Lesnar.

Last thing…it is lunch time…Mir? 2nd fight ever for Brock in mma…and he lept about 6 feet with mir attached to his leg…guarantee he won't make a rookie mistake like that again…not saying he won't ever lose again…just not like that…seriously though…all this talk is laid to rest if Fedor fights in the ONE place he,and only HE, hasn't yet…Octagon baby!..Good day men…grub on ! Out.

  22. serge

    November 18, 2008 at 7:11 am

Right now all best heavy weights are in Affliction. Arlovski is on 5-6 fights winning streak. Barnett,, those former IFL guys. There is only Nog in UFC. Randy, I do not think he would fare well against Arlovski or Barnett.

You can thank Dana for his big mouth that Fedor is not in UFC. He disrespected Fedor and respect is important for Russians.

I think, it doe snot matter whom Fedor beats, there will be always people still demanding more from him. He is number 1. Until someone bestes him, Fedor is the best. To compare Lesnar to fedor is an insult to a greatest fighter.

  23. roy

    November 18, 2008 at 7:41 am

mw74 what the hell are you talking about aa almost lost his last fight? you mean the one where he knocked out roy nelson who was a pretty tough dude and never been knocked out before? and are you saying aa dosn't belong in the ufc?and as far as the fighters you named i don't understand what your saying most of them are not hw's and big nog can not beat fedor he already tried the rest are not even worth mentioning because they are nowhere near his level shit your naming guys that have 4 fights like they could beat fedor what the hell are you smoking? probally nothing because you must be 13 yrs old kid stay off of lesnar's nuts and you may learn something.

  24. roy

    November 18, 2008 at 7:53 am

ps mw74 you named rampage who on a interview when asked who is the best mma fighter of all like most people involved with the sport and 95% of the fighters themselves said fedor!!and wandi who you mentioned said the same thing, carwin and velaquez who in the hell have the3y fought?nobody!!kongo no way gonzaga would have a chance but fall short and has only 1 win against a ranked fighter who most would not rank anymore. sorry your way off your crush on lesnar blinds you to the facts.

Yes, as Fedor told Cro Cop fell on evil times.

I think he is ruined morally and I strongly believe it all came to this after him winning Grand Prize in Pride. It is like a runner who reached some goal and then cannot run.

I do not think Cro Cop belongs in top 10 right now at all. he is not the same fighter we knew few years ago.

  26. roy

    November 18, 2008 at 8:18 am

i think your right serge at that tournement i don't think anyone would have beat cro cop but after that he hasn't looked the same and i keep hoping he will return to form but every fight it seems less likely.

I think what he is trying to say is that Fedor has not fought everyone and you all are so caught up in the hype of Fedor only fighting name fighters so when do the new kids get a chance to show off their MMA skills? Never i presume…i tell you this if think that anyone of these fighters includeing Lesnar would get demolished by Fedor your on something. To count afighter out is something you never do in MMA and Although Fedor has proved that he is one of the best he still hasnt beaten the best…hell know one knows who the best is as no matter how good you are there is always someone better than you…maybe not right in front of you or current fighters you have or have not faced but somwhere hell maybe Lesnar will be the nex Fedor in your eyes or even better but all i am saying is Fedor has been fighting the same old people who have been around a long time he HAS NOT FACED ANY ONE NEW TO MMA LIKE LESNAR ETC…and just because you are a great fighter does not make you perfect or better than anyone else as i bellieve sure you may have a big upperhand in the fight but you cant underestimate your opponent…FEDOR needs to face new talent…fighters who are on the rise and up and coming who have a few years worth of training…he needs to fight fresh meat…in order to be considered the best of the best look at boxing boxers are always facing new talent wether they would kill them or not…i hate boxing but just an example. Fedor can not keep fighting fighters that have been around for the last 20 years…he needs to face fighters who are young and growing that why he and the fighter will be tested..no disrespect but how can you consider him the best when he hasnt fought the best ( EVERYONE) he is one of the best but surely isnt the best fighter in the world…someone out there is better than he is for sure…the question is who? maybe Lesnar in a few more years, or another up and coming UFC fighter. We dont know…

  28. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 8:27 am

Cro Crop was great during that time…best of luck to him

  29. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 8:32 am

But for now..until that time comes i presume Fedor is one of the best HWGHTS out there..but until he answers these questions he isnt the best unti lall questions have been answered..which in most cases never will be. you Fedor is the best fighter in Affliction and Japan but not in the UFC…he hasnt proven that yet

  30. roy

    November 18, 2008 at 8:40 am

tim what yyou don't seem to understand is he dosn't have to prove anything, he already did it, he has beat every fighter he has ever faced, you say he needs to fight up and comers?people would just say he is fighting cans! he is fighting aa who is a true top5 hw after that hopefully barnett another top 5 guy. and tim when 95% of the people involved with the sport say he is the best hw tha pretty much makes it so, the old #1 guy and a consant top 3 hw thourgh out his career is nog and fedor already beat him.nog has only lost to fedor barnett and henderson and never stopped.

  31. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 8:51 am

Well Roy…you always seem to make sense of things. I guess i was a little ignorant and overlooking that fact but let me say this you cant deny that the up and comers could very well beat Fedor including Lesnar. In 3 years lesnar will be a beast but before i say more i want to see how he fares against either NOG or MIR…i hope its Nog as that would be a great test to him but i would also like to see MIR as that would set up a rematch and in a sense would probably be a tune up match for him to face NOG or Gonzaga. Fedor is unquestionably great but there is always someone better than you…it just may be he may be the best at this given time but his time will pass and the new era of MMA fighters will develop and take over and in 3 years lesnar will be a top 10 HWGHT.

  32. MW74

    November 18, 2008 at 8:57 am

…buuurrrp! Ahhhh… ?Hey Roy, you need to go get something to eat, dude…other than whatever is up inside Fedors a$$…Cuase…WOW!!!…REALLY?!! your man is that untouchable? How did AA do against Sylvia…since you love your ancient history so much. Nog is still young and has improved since his fight with Fedor…I don't think Brock is the end all be all in mma, just an impressive SOB who will take any challenge because he's hungry..as are all ufc fighters…when they lose that hunger, they go to other companies…or are sent packing. I just don't see the same thing in Fedor's eyes anymore…maybe you can from your view up inside his colon…in ufc he would be forced to change or at least up his game…I don't dislike Fedor, I would just love to see him in a fight where he's pushed and it brings out the old fedor…not like some old lion the romans just keep feeding for entertainment purposes only….oh, and AA is gonna make zTimi's fight look long and hardfought! ha ha ha!

  33. Tim

    November 18, 2008 at 8:58 am

If not already since he beat Randy who was ranked #5

  34. Jake

    November 18, 2008 at 9:01 am

I think this is a good fight for Fedor. Arlovski is a good heavyweight as long as he's not hit in the fangs. Then he should fight Barnett. There are some quality fights out there for Fedor. Hopefully , we'll get to see some.

  35. MW74

    November 18, 2008 at 9:12 am

Jake,I think AA is a great fighter…just not gonna happen for him vs Fedor though. AA could come back and fight LT HW vs guys like franklin, hendo, chuck, etc. and clean up and make a ton…but Fedors feet and fists are gonna be too much…just kiddin 'bout him makin Timi's fight look good:) hah! NO one else has THAT little heart. See how he folded against nog? Then gave up his back to Fedor like a dog in heat…

MW74 with all due respect man…Roy has some good points but i do agree seeing him fight in the octagon would be nice and better for his career in my opinion. We typically dont try and disrespect people on this site either as we all have our opinions.

oh, and Roy…the AA fight was his last in elite…where the dude had against the ropes…just saying, guy who hadn't beat anyone vs AA and well maybe he just took him lightly, but dude had real bad intentions..AA shoulda put him away alot quicker and cleaner…and while not 13 years old, I HAVE retained the boyish good looks from my youth thank you!

are you done bleching up lesnar's love juice mw74,i thought it was pretty funny, as far as i am concerned you seemed to be in love with lesnar and who am i to stop your love, jk i don't take things personal. i don't think fedor is unbeatable he is the best there is though all i said is there is no one in the ufc worth him fighting.of course lesnar could beat anyone just some are unlikey like fedor, and fedor could lose to aa but i dont see it that way.thanks for the back up tim you know we don't always agree but it nothing personal.

The first fight I ever got into on the playground was with a guy who said he didn't have to prove himself and that he would mop up the floor with me…(not verbatim)…but I clobbered the guy…took me too lightly…after that…I had this guys number every time…same thing gonna happen to Fedor should he go ufc or take them lightly…better tcb vs AA 1st…then we'll see……love juice…..sicko
