Royce was one of the worst people in the early years of MMA. This is a guy who intentionally injured other fighters. How many times did we see the other guy tap and Royce keep holding? Not a real good example of a good sportsman to say the least.

I agree he really didnt gain any weight. There has been a lot of controversy with these steroid testing. Look at it sherk, baroni, and royce all in CSAC. All went for appeals and sherk wasnt happy still because he had another clean piss test for his second exam. I think something is up with CSAC.

Other people who I think actually did steroids like Chris Leben or Tim Sylvia or Josh Barnett never appealed them because they realized they got caught fair and square and moved on with their lives.

Bible says, "He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." I don't know whom to believe; in an earlier era, I would have believed him but since last year we have seen baseball players outed by their trainers after they failed drug tests and even lied to Congress under oath that they never took drugs. If the not-gaining-weight argument is correct, then researchers and the California State Board should be approached to take it into consideration.
