SENGOKU II: Josh Barnett vs. Jeff Monson

World Victory Road (WVR) has announced the main event fight between PRIDE veteran Josh Barnett (21-5) and Jeff Monson (24-7) at Sengoku 2.

Barnett, former UFC heavyweight champion and PRIDE standout, will compete for the second time in WVR. He defeated Hidehiko Yoshida by heal hook submission, at Sengoku 1. His only loses are to top heavyweights Mirko Cro Cop (Three times), UFC heavyweight champion Big Nog and Pedro Rizzo.

Monson, has only loss three times in his last 20 fights, one to Tim Sylvia at UFC 65 and Once to Pedro Rizzo at Art of War 3.

    yeah .. i a;ways like ol josh not a killer but a good all around fighter i think the snowmans gonna kill him tho

    ya think Josh can hamdle the ground and pound of the Snowman or can Josh outlast him ?

    The Snowman is pretty good on the ground but I agree with most of you. I think Barnett wins this one. I just have a bad feeling it might be a decision fight. I hope not.
