great fights. i have never liked a gurgel fight until this one. it was a war.

I am sick of Gurgel. He makes no sense. He is best at bjj but he never wants to go to the ground. I get it that he wants to please us as the fans but if you cant finish a fight and lose most of the time I would rather see him mix it up. It is sad he couldnt finish this fight. He has mediocre stand up and thats all he does. He has to evolve sometime. Right??

he should striek then go for a take down striek then go for a takedown. i agree steve he definetly needs to start mixin it up. he's got short limbs and needs to not be so predictable.

i agree. both of those guys were bjj blackbelts so i would have liked to see a ground battle. in the time they spent on the mat gurgel had a pretty impressive sweep and heun was working a rubber guard. but like i said i always hate watching gurgel because he gasses and doesn't have great standup. but this fight was pretty good.

tim kennedy was probably the most impressive fighter of the night. he completely dominated the goat.

Lets face it, Gurgel will always keep the fight standing.

Heun is only a brown belt at 10th Planet BJJ.

Kennedy is one amazing energetic fighter, I like his style. The Goat disappointed, he quit. He was getting beat standing and on the ground, he found an out.
