Strikeforce Judgment Day is a event not to be missed. With a packed fight card full of well know brawlers, the Strikeforce card is looking to eclipse UFC 72 as the fight of the week. The main event will be Phil Baroni vs. Frank Shamrock in a fight that was supposed to happen last year, now must be settled live on Showtime PPV. Cung Le is continuing his path as a mixed martial arts fighter, taking on Tony “The Freak” Fryklund. Krazy Horse Bennett should be ready to fight as he was released on bond from jail, for allegedly violating his probation, but he was unable to make the flight in time so James Edson Berto will fight in his place. Joey Villasenor former Pride fighter out of Jackson Submission Grappling camp is looking to take on Murilo “Ninja” Rua for the vacant middleweight belt.
Frank Shamrock defeats Phil Baroni by TKO (Passed out due to Rear Naked Choke) at 4:00 of the second round.
Cung Le defeats Tony Fryklund by KO at 0:25 of the third round.
Josh Thomson defeats Nick Gonzalez by Submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 1:42 of the first round.
Murilo Rua defeats Joey Villasenor by KO at 1:05 of the second round.
Paul Buentello defeats Carter Willams by KO at 0:10 of the second round.
James Edson Berto defeats Victor Valenzuela by Submission (Heal Hook) at 0:47 of the first round.
Nik Thertikos defeats Nikk Covert by KO at 1:13 of the first round. Covert was knocked out cold and had to be removed from the cage on a stretcher.
Mike Pyle defeats Aaron Wetherspoon by Unanimous decision.(30-27, 30-27 and 29-27)
Luke Stewart defeats Jason Von Flue by TKO (Strikes) at 2:17 of the third round.
Rex Richards defeats Ray Seraille by TKO (Strikes) at 34 seconds of the first round.
Chris Cariaso defeats Anthony Figueroa by Unanimous decision. (30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 Cariaso)
Seth Kleinbeck defeats Sam Spengler by TKO (Strikes) at 2:55 of the second round.
