Strikeforce Judgment Day is a event not to be missed. With a packed fight card full of well know brawlers, the Strikeforce card is looking to eclipse UFC 72 as the fight of the week. The main event will be Phil Baroni vs. Frank Shamrock in a fight that was supposed to happen last year, now must be settled live on Showtime PPV. Cung Le is continuing his path as a mixed martial arts fighter, taking on Tony “The Freak” Fryklund. I thought Villasenor would beat Rua, that was my upset pick of the night. Guess I was wrong.

Villasenor is vulnerable to the flying knee, remember his loss to Robbie Lawler.

Villasenor is vulnerable because he trains at a jujitsu camp with not many, if any good strikers. You can say Jarnine is good, but he is not great. I didn't think Rua is in the same league as his brother but this tells me that he is better than I thought.

Shamrock is a great fighter and as much as I would have liked to see Baroni whoop his ass, I figured it was a long shot. The Cung Lee fight was a given for me.

What a great fight card. Cung Le took target practice on The Freak, no contest. Thomson was very impressive in his fight with Gonzales, can't wait to see him fight again. The war was on with Rua & Villasenor & Rua really proved himself in this one. I'm not a big fan of anyone named Shamrock but I got to give it to Frank, he made mincemeat out of Baroni. Could have & should have finished him in the first round but drug it out, for show I guess. The one guy I really wanted to win, Ludwig, lost to Daley, but all in all there were a lot of good exciting fights. Much better than watching UFC72, I got my moneys worth on this one. Oh & that Buentello is still meaner than a junk yard dog, hes still got it.
