Gotta love the gang of dancing honeys in between rounds! I might want to watch Strikeforce in the future instead of the UFC.

Cung Le has some striking instincts that some people are lucky enough to be born with. He hasn't even show a portion of what he knows as far as throws and strikes, reversals. Don't know about his ground game, I imagine that it needs more work still. Lucky enough he uses his stright side kick to push his opponent back if they get too close, putting them in range for the head kick.
Villasenor is good technically, I just see flaws in his instincts. His chin doesnt seem to be great, but I haven't seen him fight enough to know for sure. He should do some more training with St. Pierre to get better sparring sessions.
Rua looks very sound in all areas and he was the most impressive fighter for me tonight. I think his record doesn't say enough for how tough he is.
Oh yeah, I thought the Juggies were a nice touch too!

Just saw the Shamrock fight…thanks. First of all, Shamrock is a dick…he's cocky as hell…funny…but he is a good fighter. Too bad he let his prime pass.
Here is the intellectual breakdown of the fight. Shamrock was an orphan till his teens…so he's pissed off at the world. Baroni spent his prep time making sure his hair was nice instead of warming up and preparing. On top of that, Baroni is only 10-8, an average record for any organization, so I cant believe people thought he would win this fight.
Look at Shamrock smile weather he is hitting or getting hit. You have to put it on the line for a guy like that if you want a chance at winning. He wants to destroy you, and if you cant bring the same mentality, you are going to be destroyed…like Baroni.

Not much you can do against Rua when you get stunned like that. Taking him to the ground is not much of an option.

I'll talk about the fight of the night, Ninja vs. Villasenor. Villasenor is well prepared, he gassed a the end of the first round and that carried into the second where he could not move fast enough to block Ruas punches.
Jackson puts his fighters through a strenuous workout where he makes the fighter fight multiple fighters in successive rounds. You are tired, but have to face a new fighter in each round.
So I'm guessing it was a mixture of nerves and Rua's pace that gassed Villasenor. Rua is a complete package and has not absolute weaknesses. He is the fitting champion right now.

Shamrock did the best taunt I have ever seen in a fight with the "i'm fallin asleep" thing. It was hilarious. I have respect for his showmanship and he is right, the best fighters dont sell fights and get popular, its the best showmen that do that.
The second funniest ring taunts that I have ever seen were Rashaad in his TUF 2 debut.
