According to Sherdog, Matt Hamill has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 102 fight with Brandon “The Truth” Vera (10-3) , with an undisclosed knee injury . TUF 8’s Krzysztof Soszynski (18-8-1) has verbally agreed to step up and replace Hamill on the main card.

Since competing on the Ultimate Fighter, Soszynski has racked up two impressive wins in the Octagon. First, he defeated Brian Stann with a Kimora at UFC 97 “Redemption”. Then a month later, Soszynski stepped in as a last minute replacement for Houston Alexander, KO Andre Gusmao in the first round at UFC 98.

also dan henderson vs rich franklin 2 will headline ufc 103, i think it is way to soon for a ramatch and there is so many other people for them to fight what a waste of time and it should not be a headliner.

i think Franklin vs Hendo is a quick Rematch due to

A, Franklin is moving up to 205lbs, soon that would make a rematch pointless.

B, Many believed that Franklin beat hendo in the first fight (Franklin himself thought so after eyepokes and low blows)

on topic, i was looking forward to Hamill vs Vera… this is an upset for me as i don't really like or not a fan of either of these 2 so yeah.

A lot of people like me and even other derek a huge Frankin fan even said that he thought Dan won that decision. I think this rematch is pointless, period. Where does Frankin go after 2 loses to Hendo and already having to 2 KO loses to Anderson Silva? I don't know, but maybe he can just be a gate keeper for fighters at 205 or 185 or CW. Thats all i see him doing. If Dan can beat Rich, where does that put him, at a title shot. Why couldn't he get one before that because he's already beaten Rich and has beaten 2 other really good middleweights Bisping and Palahares. I think the UFC really screwed Dan, making this rematch and not giving him a title shot.

Franklin has ALREADY been told he'll never get another shot at Anderson Silva…. so if he wins…. its for his pride and the fact i thought that he was robbed of the draw from Dan fight.

Franklin is moving up to 205lbs thats a fact (unless he retires).

Dan beat Bisping who right now isn't even in top 10

a win over Palhares who has no impressive name wins.

a close win against Franklin who got buried and mauled in both his fights with Silva doesn't for me show #1 contender.

right now i wanna see Shields in the UFC.
