Dan Lauzon, little brother of UFC lightweight Joe Lauzon, will have to wait a little longer to make his return to the UFC Octagon. Lauzon has been forced out of his UFC 103 fight with Rafaello Oliveira due to a back injury, according to MMAWeekly. He is expected to undergo a MRI to determent the severity of his injury. No replacement opponent has yet to be named.
Lauzon (12-2) lost his one and only fight in the UFC to veteran fighter Spencer “The King” Fisher at UFC 64 “Unstoppable”. He has since racked up an impressive eight fight winning streak in smaller organizations.
UFC 103 is expected to take place Sept. 19 from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.
