Moving on from UFC 104, we can look forward to Brock Lesnar try to defend his belt against undefeated Shane Carwin at UFC 106.

Interesting that this whole spot focused on Carwin. Lesnar, Tito, and Foerrest were just sprinkles on the Carwin cupcake. Hopefully, Lesnar won't turn him into a cupcake aat UFC 106, but I have a feeling that we'll be seeing UFC 111 promos with Lesnar vs. Velasquez for the title. Just sayin'.

BROCK WILL NOT LOSE TO MACHIDA
October 26, 2009 at 12:25 pm
thats cause machida would be running from brock all night long. frankly, carwin will not run from brock. i think they're going to try to strike first. and then brock is going to test carwin's wrestling. hopefully, carwin's wrestling is good enough to keep brock from suppressing him. if it is, then it'll be a pretty good fight. if not, brock will just hammer fist carwin. then velasquez will be next. i think velasquez's wrestling may be better than carwin's. at least cain uses it more in his fights.

I agree and when we have seen Carwin wrestle he has gotten taken down at will ala Gonzaga fight and he isnt even a wrestler. A few more months now but it just gives carwin even more time to train for Lesnar, so when he loses there cant be any excuses..lol

Let's get this straight, guys…Machida doesn't "run"…he dodges, parries, and counter-attacks. Some people are brawlers and stand there and take it and give it until someone falls, and those guys are all about strength. Machida is about the skill of fighting. The goal in fighting, just so you guys know, is to inflict more damage than you take, and to beat the other person into either giving up, or knocking them out. Since when did any of you get into a fight and WANT to get hit? Isn't the object of defense to NOT get hit?
