i think brock will lose to Carwin but i would like to see Brock win..
I am Happy that the UFC didnt Cut Trig
September 22, 2009 at 6:07 am
they didn't cut him tom? good they can use him for another up and comer or a fight with serra or hughes would be fairly even. i thought they where crazy putting him in there with josh i new he would get ko'ed.
September 22, 2009 at 7:23 am
I'm the complete opposite of Tom. I think Brock will win but I'm pulling for Carwin. I completely dismissed Brock as a fad when he made the switch from wrestling to MMA but at this point I have to give him his due. That man is a beast.

i think Brock is going to win this one
September 22, 2009 at 10:19 am
i think brock is going to win because carwin really isnt at big as brock. brock weighs in at sometimes over 300 pounds when he's not training for a fight and carwin at weigh ins is alway around 258 so it doesnt seem like he cuts nearly as much. lesnar also has 3 inches of reach on carwin and i doubt carwin is used to that.
randy braught in carwin to help him handle lesnar and afterwards he said he wasnt prepared for the size and power of lesnar.

Dane I agree brock Is quicker and much stronger and overall a much better Athlete than Carwin. He also has the stamina. I think Brock is going to plow his way through Carwin. Brock is too just too big and quick
September 22, 2009 at 10:57 am
I guess wwe maybe does help because those guys are awesome athletes and they do amazing stuff
September 22, 2009 at 6:35 pm
I think carwin has a slight chance to land a huge shot on brock, but all in all i think brock's got this one in the bag.

I have to say i am starting to like Lesner more and more. I thought he would be a joke coming from WWE to MMA, but i have to give credit where credit it due. He is no joke.
I like how he is super aggressive and wants to destroy his opponents. He is looking for new opponents to beat into the ground.
I dont even think i will see him refuse fights. This guy likes to fight.
I know he might be cocky at times, maybe all the time. I would rather have a heavyweight champ like him that is hungry all the time then someone that says the following
I have nothing more to prove.
If that is the case Fedor retire.
Before all Fedor fans flip out, you know what i am saying is true. I am still a Fedor fan and have been for a long time. The truth is the truth.
September 23, 2009 at 12:19 am
I hope Carwin knocks some of that cockyness out of Lesnar! After all Carwin is 11 an 0 with 10 KO's.
September 23, 2009 at 3:09 am
11-0 true but only 1-0 against anyone notable Gonzaga. Before he KO's him Gonzage took carwin down with ease and hurt him with some punches early on and yes Carwin got up and rocked him and KO'd him no one is denying him his punch power but based upon this scenario and the fact he is facing a NCAA wrestling champ, a 280lb muscle beast who moves like a lightweight and the power to break bones in one punch does not look good for Carwin, a fighter who fights hunchback sticks his head out (which is why Gonzaga rocked him early on, Gonzaga'sreach was only 74 or 76 i believe and Lesnar's is 81) Bottom line Carwin of course has a big chance to beat Lesnar but i just dont see it happening due to how lesnar fights…very smart he knows his strengths and weaknesses and is getting more strengths and more developed by the day, He took 2 knees to the head from Mir and still had the whereabouts to take Mir down with ease and pummel him. The key thing here is can Lesnar keep Carwin down like he has with most and i think he can but it will be tougher this time around due to Carwin;s size and strength and wrestling ability. It will be intersting fight but i think Lesnar is too much for Carwin to handle but you never know. Win or lose Lesnar is a force to be reckoned with.

thank u shogun of harlem
he's definately an entertaining fighter that acts and speaks his mind the way all these d bags say they would act if they were always booed and had fighters talk smack to them.
i will say it again. this is a guy that came straight out of fake fightin into real fighting and asked for the toughest fighters and biggest names. and when he got those fights he smashed them into dust. i dont kno how u can hate a guy for when he does something like that.

ITs the fact that most UFC and MMA fans can not believe that Lesnar can actually back up his words and has proven himself. Most dont like the idea of a fake wrestler dominating MMA but fact is take out the fake part and he is a true athlete with an NCAA wrestling championship background, So i agree the haters will always be haters and while i did not like his post antics they were however entertaining and need to remember the guy is new to the sport last time he was involved in high caliber style fights/matches he was doing the drama gig and protraying himself as a heal to the crowd so its only second nature for him not to mention the guy really doesnt like exposure or the spotlight he is simple minded, down to earth hardworking guy who just likes to be with his family and go hunting. If you bad mouth him he will bad mouth you after he beats you.
Bottom line, dont bad mouth him and who cares like him not he is here to stay, i just hope he doesnt go to extreme in the post antics going forward. He is learning.

I'm not here to "hate" on Lesnar he is a talented wrestler but he is not a championship caliber mixed martial artist. There are many heavyweights in the UFC more deserving of the title that haven't been given a shot at it. Make this guy earn his dues. I know Dana White is trying to get every penny he can out of Lesnar but its not worth turning the UFC into the WWE. Lesnar needs to learn respect for the sport he made that obvious at UFC 100 Talented Athlete But this isn't pro wrestling
My prediction Carwin by TKO round 2

Some habits die hard. I agree Tim. He came from that fake wrestling and Vince McMahon wanted him to be a heal and have the fans to hate him.
When you do that for so long it becomes a bad habit that takes a while to change.
People need to give Lesnar some slack. He hasnt been in the UFC long. He does not know truly yet how to carry himself.
For the haters out there one thing you cant deny he has got raw talent. He might have been in the WWE but before that he had a wrestling record second to none.
He proved his talent by becoming the UFC heavyweight champ. He destroyed Frank Mir the second time they fought.
Haters look at his record before WWE
He was a four-time All-American, two-time Big Ten Champion and NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion.
The longer Fedor stays out of the UFC the more dangerous Lesnar becomes.
sometimes the truth hurts

Just because someone comes from "Fake Wrestling" doesn't mean they should be looked down upon. There are a lot of people in Wrestling that could make a transition to MMA and do quite well. Bobby Lashley is doing it. I'm sure if Kurt Angle decided to come over to MMA he would be a big impact. He is a better freestyle wrestler than almost anyone in the world. I'm sure there are a lot more that could do pretty good in MMA. Most people in "Fake Wrestling" have done some sort of wrestling prior. Brock has probably the least training out of everyone in the UFC and he is dominating the heavyweight division. So whats that say about MMA……a fake wrestler can come over and dominate the heavyweight division thus far. Pretty good for a fake wrestler.
