This will be good but I see Sanchez going for the same game plan as GSP. Keep the fight up and down and try to gas out Penn. I don't think Sanchez can hang with Penn on the ground and I'm not sure about the standup. I hope Penn pulls it out though.

isn't nick diaz a great ground fighter? years ago diego was taking him down and in his guard and had no real trouble. i don't think penn is going to submit sanchez. he can break sanchez' will if he controls the fight on the feet for a round or two.

Kom34 diaz has totally evolved now and is a much better fighter. did you see the way he outclassed Scott smith and frank shamrock. Look at GSP 4 years ago versus now. BJ Penn looks totally rejuvinated at 155. Fighters can evolve and become much better.

bj penn needs to come into the fight with a bigger gas tank than diego if not diego will take the decision

i agree BJ should win this easily i am still amazed at how bad he made a great fighter in ken-flo look

dont like him as a person but BJ is a great LW

i think if Diego gets past the first round and keeps a real busy pace like he did in his last couple fights he might have a chance … he needs to wear B J out in the first round .. but we'll see

Yeah but Whodini, that was Florian's plan too. Everyone tries to do that with BJ because of his conditioning, but it always appears to be a little better than people thought. No one also thought BJ would sub. Florian, but he did and made it look easy, which is crazy because Florian has awesome ground game. It will be good, but no one at lightweight has yet had a good gameplan to defeat BJ.

I see these 2 throwing fist for the first two rounds. Then in the 3rd it'll probably go to the ground. This could be fight of the year. They both love to be first.
