A lightweight battle between TUF alums Phillipe Nover and Rob Emerson is signed for UFC 109 on February 6 from the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Nover (6-2-1), has had a rough start as a UFC fighter, losing his first two fights in the UFC to Efrain Escudero and Kyle Bradley. Nover was scheduled to take on Sam Stout at UFC Fight Night 19, but suffered a seizure the day of the fight.

Emerson (8-8), is also on a two fight skid, losing to Kurt Pellegrino and Rafael dos Anjos. Emerson’s entertaining fights and hard fought losses have kept him relevant in the UFC.

your right Ryan he's especially better at getting taken down, passing out before fights, and going into seizures lol. But i do dislike emerson he's a punk i hope nover pulls it off.

i would agree from watching the utlimate fighter but Emerson has won a lot of fights since his stint on TUF while Nver the guy who dana said was anderson and gsp's equals lol hasnt even won a fight. he got a takedown clinic put on him in the finale, then while the stoppage was early he got dropped and was getting beat, then he had a seizure before his third fight and didnt fight so i think emerson has been a lot more impressive. Emerson is a DOUCHE bag tho and i hope he loses. I will never root for him after hearing about him and his gang banger friends beating on kids.
