cain wont be champ his style is to maul people hows he gonna beat lesnar, if he tried to maul brock he would dump cain on his head and just pound him, and i think carwin is the one guy in ufc who could prob beat brock but i think he will loose against mir and then we will see another lesnar kill mir session

I dont see cain as hw champ. if congo had any takedown defense at all he would have beaten cain by tko. that wont fly with the bigger talents in the division. cain is a paper tiger.

cain's really good but until he beats a giant in the division like lesnar, carwin…or even mir. i'm not sold on him being a champ by the end of the year.

i've been an mma fan for a while so it sucks to say but i think jardine is done…he doesn't have a chin anymore. bonner will get another fight but he's not a contender anymore. cro cop can't even beat a can on two day's notice…i hope he hangs it up.

Cain wont be champ this year due to Mir vs Carwin in the spring of 2010, then more than likley a Mir vs Lesnar 3 if that fight even happens this year in winter. Cain wouldnt get his shot until next year due to those events that have to take place. If Mir beats Carwin, Cain will more than likley fight him at the end of the year. I do expect Cain to fight for the title by summer of next year though. He has good cardio, ko power, great wrestling, and a good chin. He would be a decent opponent for Lensar.

On a side note I would like to see a possible Cain vs Dos Santos fight at the end of the year for the next HW runner up #1 contender.

^^^in addition to my comment i mean if Mir beats Carwin i expect Cain to fight Carwin at the end of the year not Mir.

how come the foreners have to take the long way and the americans get the sort cut ?

To get the belt this is turning into entertainment and not Competitoin sport.

Bisping Feels the Judges made an Error and wants a rematch. Oh the irony, this is the same guy who was quite content with his gifted decision over Hammil.

Donio, how do the "foreigners" have to take the long way when Hardy got his title shot after 4 fights in the UFC? Bader is 11-0 and won his 4 UFC fights, but he's not being considered for a title shot, yet, and he's not a "foreigner."

Who do you think is not getting their fair shot? You can't make a blanket statement without backing it up with some facts.

And, just so you know, all competition sports are also entertainment, technically. And in MMA, unless you have a bracket tourney, you have to judge on both criteria…1) who has earned the right to fight for the belt based on track record, and 2) which will make the most intriguing match-up to watch.

if bisping thinks he won hes fucking crazy, I watched every second on that fight and bisping showed me nothing, personally i would say he lost every round, wand did better on the ground, was the aggressor the whole fight and landed more shots that actually did damage, not gonna win fights taking 75 leg kicks (stop training with rampage) and landing weak ass jabs. try having some offense next time and you may win a round mikey.

i agree with cobra, besides if you look at it there are more "foreigners" in the heavy weight division that are Americans.

Who do you think Silva will fight next? I think they will give him marquardt for the fact that beating him will jump silva up in the rankings so he can face the spider for the big draw it will most likely receive. And if marquardt wins he's probably gonna be back in the mix for a title shot as well.

Jardine and Bonner need to go..Jardine looks like an old man without his cane in there and Bonner just sucks really he never really had it i thought ……he looks like he is confused and scared when he fights and doesnt want to be in there

Silva v. Marquardt would be a good match-up. Wandy won that fight against BitchPing 30-26 by my scorecard. At the end of Rounds 2 and 3 BisBitch was near being finished. Great showing by Wandy.

I think Jardine always looked like that. Hahaha. Techno Viking took too much E in his day.

And Bonner doesn't look scared. He takes so much punishment and never quits. Gotta give the guy credit for taking those shots and never giving up. I am not a fan, but gotta give respect where it's due.
