UFC 110: Wanderlei Silva vs. Michael Bisping (Not Sexyama)

The Axe Murder Wanderlei Silva has verbally agreed to take on Michael Bisping at UFC 110 on February 23 at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.

Wanderlei was originally scheduled to take on Yoshihiro “Sexyama” Akiyama, but Dana hinted of a change on Fridays MMAJunkie’s radio show.

“That might change,” White said of the Silva-Akiyama matchup.

When pressed further on the matter, White declined to divulge any further information. But the UFC exec did say the company was making some changes to previously reported bookings.

“All I said is that might change,” White said. “That’s my groundbreaking info on that fight. That one might change. We’re moving some things around and doing some stuff.”

bisping has the ability to outbox wandy for 3 rounds, i dont think bisping has the power to stop wandy standing up. My view about bisping is in his wins he has broken the opponent's will down and imposed his, i cant see him breaking wandy..i dont think ive ever seen wandys spirit broken in a fight. But im still givin this to bisping, he's gonna run and counter. bisping by decision

Bisping will not be able to break Wand's will. But i do believe Bisping can beat Wand.

Wanderlei Silva is one of the greatest of all time but lets be fair, he has been in his fair share of wars, and it really shows when he fights now.

His chin is not what it used to be and he's never been a technical fighter, he just comes out to kill.

I think if Bisping can land some good puches from the top (like in his last fight) he would never break Wand's will but he could break his chin till the lights shut off. It has happened before (Hendo, Cro cop, Rampage).

yeah but i have not seen wandy stopped by a guy without great power witch bisping dosn't have and if kang almost had him. i think bisping can win the decision but i hope wandy catches him and it will be lights out, if he even hurts bisping a little he will be all over him not like kang letting him recover.

This is a fight I have wanted to see since UFC 100. I think Bisping has a good chance at getting the decision in this one. I don't think Bisping will make the same mistake he made against Henderson. Wandy won't do a Jardine to Bisping.
