UFC 117: Anderson Silva Is Tired Of Chael Sonnen Disrespecting Him

UFC middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva:

“Do you want to be a politician, or do you want to be a fighter or you want to be a gangster? I chose, for myself, being a fighter. If I wasn’t a fighter, I’d be a cop, and in that case it would be a serious problem, because you’re a gangster and I’m a cop … Chael, as a fighter, is a good politician. He thinks he knows something, but on the day of the fight, when we are all alone in there, he’ll have his chance. Once again, he’s saying crap.”

“What he’s saying is disrespecting me, he’s disrespecting me and all opponents I’ve faced. Dan Henderson, in my opinion, is the best wrestler that there is out there on MMA … I’ll keep doing my job the same way I’ve always done. I’ll do a good fight, as I always do, I’ll try to show my technical superiority.” [Tatame]

Sonnen, a realtor, politician and fighter, has pulled no stops in calling out Anderson Silva on his fighting style and attitude in the media. The Spider finally addresses Chael Sonnen’s onslaught of criticism in this interview with the Brazilian news magazine Tatame.

Besides Vitor, his real competition is at 205. Guy's like Shogun, Machida and Rashad are bigger and better tests for him than the smaller GSP who won't even take a fight at MW. He hasn't shown that he can even compete there and has trouble putting away people in his own division. Andy needs to move to 205 and stay and let's see GSP take on any top 185 fighter before he gets a shot at Anderson. It's not like Andy got a shot at Forrest when he was the champ and look what he did to a someone in a higher division, something that GSP can't do in his own weight class.

forrest walks around 240 and silva dismantled him. to say that silva cant hang with the big guys at 205 is dumb.

Who said that he can't? Alot of people including myself think he could take the 205 belt which means alot more than having the 185 one. I agree with Dana for saying that Anderson vs GSP doesn't make much since. Anderson vs Shogun would be a much better fight. All the hardcore fans would agree. It's the casuals who don't know what they're talking about with all of this GSP crap.

Maybe now that Machida is not the champ anymore, AS will give it some thought. he might have figured that there was not much in a point in risking a loss when he was clearly not going to fight Machida. I recall, not for sure so if I am wrong, it is my memory and not me trying to make shit up, but I recall that when AS left Chute Boxe, that there was some bad blood and he may be motivated to fight Rua. That would be something. With Rua not being a huge 205er, that may be a great fight! For now though, I just want to see AS kick Chael's ass. I want to see AS demolish him-no bull $%^& tactics…just dismantel him in 60 seconds!

Chael the blabber mouth will end up getting a kapuera bitch slap and will be beaten senseless, he will end up stuttering instead of bragging about himself as a fighter. He talks so much shit but never really proved anything yet… i can't wait to see how Anderson slowly breaks his courage and chase him around like a lil school bitch.
