Cro Cop should retire. How many times do you have to lose to up and comers before you hang it up.

Is it too early to want to see Anderson Silva vs Jon Jones

Its never too early, that's a better match up then GSP vs Silva.

Cro Cop looked like he was getting his confidence back in the third, then BAM he is on the floor.

Shogun looked out of it. Just like he did against forrest and coleman. We will never see the shogun in his pride form again. Jon jones is too damn good. I dont hink silva can handle jones gorund game either. The scary thing is Jones is still evolving!!

I am a huge Shogun fan. I have a bunch of Pride Bushido DVDs with Shogun destroying Japanese dudes. I was worried he would end up like Hamell and Vera, but I thought he would put up a good fight. Then…. BAM! Shogun gets destoryed! I feel sorry for him.

Jon Jones is the future. The fact that he beat up a criminal before the fight is just outrageous. He uses his power for the greater good. He's the champ, and I can't imagine that anyone in the game at the moment that could beat him. Rashaad Evans can't beat 'em. Jones closed both Shogun's eyes!!

somebody has to either get jones to the ground or rock him bad. We have not seen that yet. Maybe MAchida, RAmpage, Thiago Silva????

Anyone read between the lines, there was a big falling out between Jones and Rashaad. Jones wouldn't even smile for pics after they did the little promo spot. Rashaad said afterwards that win or lose he was going to fight Jones. I wonder how the war of words is going to play out as the fight gets closer.

Rashad has no chance against Jones. MAn did you see how Jones just walked through shoguns leg kick. It was like a monster just coming forward ripping through you.

Yeah I agree. I can't see how Rashad is going to get in on those long arms and legs. Shogun's corner was pretty stupid for telling him to stay at a distance. That just makes you get picked apart.

Didnt see the fight but it sounds like bones gave shogun a lesson. Should be a good champ. And lets not go ahead and say that hes unbeatable. A year ago Machida was unbeatable and Shogun essentially did it twice, rashad can hit just as hard as anyone on the ufc roster, should be a good fight. Sounds like Cro Cop needs to hang it up. All the old guys need to start training with couture, hes the ageless wonder seems like he gets better with age. How was the faber fight?

In the first round Wineland took it to Faber, but Faber looked amazing in the final two. I can't believe that wasn't fight of the night.

Rashaad needs 2 just xcept it that he"s not the 1 with the title.cause Jon Jones would put them elbows in his face.

And another thing it would be a better fight if Jon Jones VS.

Silva!!!!!!!!!! took place!!! I love both of their styles, Dana White MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!!!!!

And I don't really care for rashad but I must admit im impressed that he's being a man and putting friendship aside to fight instead of pulling the ol fitch koscheck card. you can be friends after you fight chuck and randy beat the shit out each other 3 times and they are friends. grow up, you want to be champ and get paid you gotta do what you gotta do.

as much as i want to see jones vs. silva, way more than vs gsp. i don't think its going to happen. silva seems to want to retire after a few more fights and jones is going to have to defend that belt a few times before he is even considered for a superfight. so it could happen, but i doubt it will happen.

Silva said he was gonna retire soon after the cote fight (ed soares confirmed) and here we are again he says i'm gonna retire again?

I saw a Silva interview and he's kinda jealous of Bones. He was being aloof but we all have known one thing about Silva…he cares about his legacy and being #1 p4p. Aside from guys like Aldo which most don't know, Bones is a threat to his legacy. If Bones defends well I hope Silva goes for this superfight.

what do you mean he is a threat to his legacy? Silva will fight anyone. everybody thought vitor was a threat to him and look what happened. Please dont jump on jones nuts that quick. shogun was out of it from the get go. he looked slow and slugish and washe up and gassed in 2 minutes. On any given night anybody can lose and jones is no exception. Give jones a fighter thats in top shape and is well rounded. Silva is my opinion is the most accurate striker. yes he does not have the wrestling but all it takes in one blow from silva and your in huge trouble

    March 25, 2011 at 2:50 am

the only person thats a threat to andersen slivas legacy is andersen silva. i dont like the gsp silva fight because silva is ALOT bigger than GSP, silva prolly walks around 220 225. makes a good cut to make 185. if silva can stay upright the fights not even close, i would rather see silva go up. more competition that is comparable in size and strength

    March 25, 2011 at 4:55 pm

Make it happen Jones vs. Silva, UFC please. I agree with STEVEO that the GSP fight doesn't seem as good since he's much smaller. Jones I think is really talented but he still needs to prove himself against his weight class. Anderson Silva's legacy is crazy, I can't see anyone touching that right now.
