For a card that was so stacked – what a crappy night of fights. Sherk reminds me of a young Hughes without the submission skills – Franca must have given him a dozen different chances to be submitted. Take your pick Sherk, he's leaving his arm out there, oh look he rolls to his back for the 7th time – choke him out. No, Sherk basically just stays on him like white on rice. Dont get me wrong – the guy is obviously in amazing shape, I just wish he would have displayed a better showing.
Silva proved to me that he deserves his spot. He's so tall and linky – man, his game is right on. I'm worried about Franklin.
I wish there could have been a 4th round with the Rashad/Tito fight. Rashad would have come out the victor. Tito was spent. What a chump – holding the cage. Dana White couldn't have prayed for a better outcome for this one – rematch equals $$$$$$$$ big time.

I agree with all of that. The problem with Sherk is that he still has that wrestling mentality. He is happy advancing and gaining dominant positions on his opponent. Even if Franca has good defense, he should have been about to do more damage.
I was suprised Tito gassed because he was in such good shape. No doubt in my mind Rashad wins in a 4th round. I also think Rashad would win a rematch because he was nervous the whole first round in this one.

I just was the silva fight again, he is deadly. I don't know who can beat him right how.

I'm with you there. I was so pissed with Silva for taking Franklin out the way he did, but after watching him defend a couple of times – he deserves it. I think he fights Franklin next if I'm not mistaking. If so, and if Rich shows up with his 'A' game, then it should make for an exciting fight.
How about all the fights that weren't aired. with all the first round wins, I would have rather watched them than sit through Heath Herring getting punched on for three long rounds.

yeah, I was hoping to see Bonner's fight.

I just saw an interview with Hermies Franca. He said it was in his gameplan to let Sherk pass his guard. Pretty smart considering he didn't take too much damage and Sherk wasn't looking for submissions.

As powerful as Sherk is, he is just another wrestler. These wrestlers need to stay off the roids and learn how to finish fights.
Matt Huges is a good example of a wrestler turned mma fighter. Koscheck, Sherk, and Maynard are all wrestlers.

I'm so burnt out watching these damn wrestlers lay on their opponents & Not finish 'em. If it wins them the match all well & good but it bores the hell out of me. Good BJJ I can watch all day & I'm sure I just don't know enough about wrestleing to appreciate the art, but Finish them off you guys or learn different styles to add to your arsonal.
Did Herring throw that fight? Or was he afraid to go in after Nog? He had him & gave it up. What was that shit?
Rashad held his own, I would have liked him to do better but he was nervous as hell. Tito is the one that really disapointed me. I thought he was "Cardio Man" & gassed out in the 3rd. I know it's auto to try & stop from being taken down, but he's been in the cage awhile & knows better. How nice that he'll probably get a 2 & 3 fight out of this. Sounds like a set up to me. WWF? Say it's not true.

Yea, I wanted to see Bonnar fight also, glad he won that one & hope he hangs in there.
Silva is the shit!!! Franklin better get his confidence built up a little more before he steps up to Silva again! He operates like a surgeon in there. His strikes & kicks are so clean. One of my favs, he shows a lot of class & doesn't shit talk.

What I'm saying about Herring vs. Noguiera is that Keith Herring either threw the fight, or he is incredibly stupid. I don't think it would be below Dana to pay him extra or maybe offer him a good contract if he threw this one fight.

Sorry guys some videos have already been taken down. If you find elsewhere on the net, let me know.

Man, I'm just looking at Florian here and he tore it up. I don't understand how people say that he is not a good fighter.

The fight with Heath Herring I just dont know but there is something up with that fight. He could have finished Nog. in the first round but didnt. I rewatch the fight and i am like why did he not take advantage in the beginning in the second round. I am not going to say there was a payoff or anything at this time. All i can say is something was just not right

Any fighter knows to finish a downed opponent. Look at his paycheck and look at the fact that he already has another fight setup for UFC 76 or something like that.
You're fight James, not right and I think we are watching a show more than a professional battle.

I just hope that mma does not turn into professional boxing. That would just be sad. I just cant believe the pay that some of these guys get. With all the money Dana White gets, i think they should be getting a whole lot more.
