Chuck Liddell faces Wanderlei Silva at UFC 79 Nemesis on December 29 live from Las Vegas, Nevada.

My favorite combination of punches are from Wanderlei when he pieced up Fujita in critical countdown absolute. I loved that fight.

Chuck fell into the Hollywood crowd and looks more like the Ms Spears of MMA than he does a prior champion.
I hope Chuck lays of (Insert drug here) before the fight so he can put on a good show. I see Chuck getting knocked out or the ref stopping the fight in the middle of the second round.
Lets be honest, between Chucks now famous interview in Texas about the movie 300 and his public displays of intoxicication or altered state (who knows) He is looking worse and worse. Who calls in Tony Robins? Someone who needs to get their life back on track. Chuck has many issues going on outside the ring and those are going to play and invaluable role in his next fight.
Chucks fight will play out one of two ways….either his head is back in the fight game and Hollywood (Las Vegas) night life/life style is second…or…..Chuck becomes the next Joe Rogan of the UFC and sharpens his mic skills.
Time will tell, Ok maybe the next 48 hours will tell.
Good luck to both fighters, lets just hope if Chuck losses he grows his hair out or pays for the whole hair cut, they seem to keep missing a strip down the middle.

I am with u when u say chuck is into the night life. But by now if u dont know how he rolls then u shouldnt be posting comments on an MMA site. I really dont think the lifestyle played a factor in either fight. The first fight he got caught by a guy named rampage who had beat him up pretty good before. Then he lost to a guy named Jardine who stood in their with Forrest Griffin and tko'd him. Jardine is not as bad as everyone says.Do I think he is great no way but he does belong in the UFC. He adds depth to the LHW Div. He is a wild card really. Wll back to Chuck. He had problems with Jardine b/c he was trying to hard to get a win. He sits back and counters but yet the whole time he was chasing Jardine. 1 thing is for sure the fight with wanderlei is gonna be fireworks if for 1 min. or 6 min. i dont see it going much further. It is whoever hits who on the button first. I am gonna go with Wandy.

Jardine is not that good of a fighter, look what Houston did to him (yes houston got beat too). My point is Chucks head is not in the ring, it's at last nights party or such. I hope Tony Robins was able to focus Chuck on what is impotant. Maybe nightlife is Chucks priority now and he wants to ride the coat tails of his former self. Fine, many pros do that. If Chuck looses (which I think he will) that will be all they wrote for ole Chuckie. 3 defeats in a row spells "bye bye" Chuck. As mush as Dana White loves to rubs Chucks ego, even the Don King of MMA can't justify keeping Liddell as a main event player.
Looks like the WEC, HDnet might jump in a grab the former champ, or maybe Dana White can start a new class of fighters "The washed up has beens"….(Chuck, Shamrock, Cro-Cop, ext….)

Like he said in his interviews, Chuck has had the same routine for training and going out for ten years. He is rethinking that now that he has lost twice and getting older. Rampage caught him, one unblocked punch and out. Could have happened to anyone. That fight was way to quick to judge either fighter IMO.
Jardine took a lot of heavy blows from Alexander before dropping. I'm sure he thought he could take them until it was too late and he was hitting the canvas. Jardine was a tough opponent for Chuck for that reason, he is not easily KO'd and he did run and strike in that fight. He outpointed Chuck but if you compare their faces, Chuck did more damage. I'm with Steve, Jardine is not the top of the class but he deserves to be there in the UFC.
I've had a deviated septum so I wouldn't count out CroCop either. It makes all the difference in the world to be able to breath from the nose especially when you are taking hits to the head. An open mouth makes it easier to get KO'd. I think CroCop is going to make a comeback along with Shogun.

chuck needs to change his whole surroundings, he needs new training partners a new camp and he could be fine, if he does not have the drive to continue though its over for him.he could still beat most lhw out there i don't see him beating vandy with what he has been doing although he could still knock out anyone if they get caught.i also agree with morey crocop and shogun will be back and do good.

Have we forgot Mr Cro Cop has lost both his fights in the UFC….I know going from ropes to cage is a huge change and the slight differences between Pride rules and UFC, but come on.
Dana White BOUGHT Cro-Cop thinking he was getting this Universal Soldier type fighter and instead he got a broke down looking Mirkro.
I do agree Shogun will be back, but unless Cro-Cop takes being in the UFC seriously then he is done, he might as well go back home and retake his government position. He already has enough money.
Off Topic….instead of Dana White putting all these good fighters under contract he should have saved his money and brought the man in. It's been said over and over but a fight between Randy and Fedor would crush PPV records…I for one would buy it if that was the only fight on the card. Dana White make this happens and quit being a money hungry whore for once in your life, think of the fans and not your wallet!

thats very true Drbreaker

cro co has not looked good but its not like he has not lost fights before or been knocked out before he came back from those loses and did great in pride.if he still wants to fight than he will do fine and beat most h.w.'s in the ufc.

I think Chuck needs a big change as well. He should not have lost to Jardine (No disrespect to his fans). I think Dr Breaker is right on the money with Chuck. I think he'll lose this fight and that will be all she wrote. As far as Mirko and Shogun, I think they'll both come back impressively.
