Yeah, I think Brock was overpaid. If he would have won, he would have had close to a Chuck Liddell payday. He's no Chuck Liddell.

I hope Emerson gets robbed for that money. Getting shot in the process wouldn't hurt my feelings either.

Haha im sure karma wont mind that little tid bit Joe lol…but i have to agree that emerson is a pussy witha doorag who cals himself a badass fighter…Brock gt paid the most cause he is a huge name and i cant argue with that pay check…what i do argue tho is that people like diego sancez and gabriael gonzaga should be making around 150 K a fight instead of the bullshit 85K they get…Dana white is the stingiest mother fucker on the planet

Who bought this UFC because of Brock? I know I did, it wasn't to watch Tim Silvia thats for sure. Brock is going to make the UFC a lot of money and thats why he gets paid well. I don't argue that. What I hate is the bottom people who have put in a lot of work to get to the UFC and are getting a few grand in return. Eastman, Martin, Lytle…we've seen them fight a few times already in the UFC. I think if they are asked to come back so many times that maybe they should get paid more.

Man almost a 1/2 Million to a guy for only his 2nd Professional MMA fight?!?!?

I really want to know what kind of money the UFC thinks they made off Brock Lesnar. Im sure he brings some WWE/ECW fans with him but jesus he can't be as popular as a Stone Cold or even hell the Rock back in there day.

Meanwhile Mir barely gets 100K to fight and win. A shame how Veteran Professional fighters get paided a fraction of what an Amatuer/Rookie gets even if hes the most popular thing since sliced bread he still should have to earn his way up the pay ladder like most fighters.

you have to respect brock tho brock was makin millions a year with the wwe and he left it all for a lot les money just so he could really fight. i respect the hell outta brock

yeah i agree with that dane. i don't think he was there just for the payday, he looked genuinely disappointed in himself when he lost. he was working hard to get that win and be exciting. i think in his next fight he will come back and look very good.

as far as him not being popular in the wwe. i remember that he was a fan favorite and was the cover of video games and magazines. fans really liked him and even though he wasn't around as long as the rock or stone cold, he was just as entertaining in the ring. aside from that, you cant beat the rock and stone cold, those guys were entertaining everywhere.

Thats bullshit man Brock will never be the Iceman, thats why the UFC sucks. Brock doesn't sell out seats maybe in the fake ass WWE not in MMA, Mr. Dana White. Why pay him more than a real MMA fighter, in that case why not bring HULK HOGAN and STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN, Dana you dumb ass. Frank Mir deserved way more than that, Frank go some where else where they appreciate real MMA fighters dude, it seems UFC just want to be a circus of clowns. :(

and by the way that card sucked if it wasn't for Nogueira, and Mir. As always you suck Dana. :(

Look Brock is a name already, not a no name. Plus he pulls in the 12-16 age group crossing over to MMA for the first time.

Hulk hogan is a has-been and not a real fighter. Lesnar

was a top wrestler and did put a beating on Mir.

He made a stupid mistake, but was close to winning.

He should have defended from the ground and kept pounding, and not stood up and hung his legs out there for so long.
