idk he is the man..it was ok fights i was think it would have been better

    March 2, 2008 at 2:02 am

Who else is out there for him to fight…absolutely no one. Maybe Wandi if he moves down after the Jardine fight but I think Anderson would run through him. He may go to Japan after his UFC contract is over

GSP GSP GSP, him and Tha Spider would be a great match

    March 2, 2008 at 3:28 am

Scooby Doo I dont want to see him destroy everyone he has already fought, theres no point to it (ESPECIALLY RICH FRANKLIN!!) and king-hydro that would be a horrible match. they would first off have to agree on a weight thats neither in WW or MW and that would fuck up everything lke what happened to boxing and Silva has a HUGE reach advantage and strength advantage, it would be completely unfair and Silva would win. I dont want to see MMA become all fucked up with belts and weightclasses like boxing just so fans who done understand logical thinking can see these so called "super matches"

wow i really thought henderson would atleast get ot of the 2nd round… igf lutter beats franklin in convincing fashion i think he should get the next shot because he has done the best against him in my oppinion. lets see him drop the belt and move up and try to take rampages! he finished hendo somethin page couldnt do… i would love to see that fight

    March 2, 2008 at 6:51 am

Dane, I argree to thoughts about the Lutter/ Franklin fight. If i remember correctly Lutter is the only fighter to fully mount Anderson in all of his fights in the UFC. But i dont agree that Silva should fight rampage. Henderson is a true 185, he walks around at 200 and cuts as opposed to most HW like rampage that walk around at 215-220 and cut. Also, as great a striker the spyder is, he does not have HW power in his hands which would be a problem if he moved up to that weight class…But he's still the pound for pound best fighter in all of MMA and is the fucking man

i honestly think anderson could do well against anyone in the 205 pound weight class. i think he would bea wandy. i think he would beat shogun. i think rampage would beat him tho but rampage got taken all 5 rounds with dan and anderson stopped dan in 2. i think the reason he is so unstopable is because he is a super striker and the way to beat a striker is wrestling but hes also a amazing bjj with the NOG brothers and the way to beat a wrestler is with bjj. i do think that lidell would give him problems and so would rampage and the 205 pound division would eb a lot harder because they ahve a lto more elite wrestlers in 205 than 185

    March 2, 2008 at 7:59 am

I dont believe that the fact he stopped Hendo in 2 and Rampage went the distance has anything to do with how well he would do. They both beat him. I seriously doubt he could beat Shogun, he's to diverse even for Silva. I agree he would probably beat Wandi but I dont believe he will succeed in LHW but who knows? He may move up simply because there is no one else to fight in the Middle weight division

I think Dan Henderson is a better fighter than Wanderlei so I'm not really wanting Anderson vs. Wanderlei. Henderson did well but against Anderson, the end could come at absolutely any time. The little mistakes Henderson made when he was seeing stars ended up being the end for thim. He couldn't get a hold of Andersons leg as he came in and he didn't control the correct arm when Anderson had his back.

The fight I really want is Anderson vs. Okami II. Okami is boring but he is still a good fighter with a lot of name wins since he won Anderson by DQ. I think he is evasive enough to stay away from Andersons big power. I can see Lutter being a good opponent too. Filho hasn't looked good lately but he has just one last fight on his WEC contract and then he will jump to the UFC. I can see the UFC setting up another Champion vs. Champion fight there.

Hendo should fight Rich. and if he destroys Rich, which he should be able to do, then he should get one more shot at Silva–right away.

    March 2, 2008 at 4:04 pm

morey good luck with that silva vs filho champion vs champion match i dont see it happening seeing as they train together and filho went to the wec so that he wouldnt ahve to fight one of his best friends. if i remember right tho i think they ahve said they would fight eachother down the road if the money was right

  15. Corey

    March 2, 2008 at 4:35 pm

Doesnt mater anyway because Anderson would make quick work of Filho. Because they are friends Anderson will give him a quick fight and send Filho home.

…..bring on Wanderlei to beat up on Anderson Silva.

  17. dane drebin

    March 2, 2008 at 6:43 pm

anderson would fck wandy up… wandy would go for those loopin punches and get knocked out… anderson throws super fast punches straight down the middle and has the reach… it would be a bad matchup for wandy period

    March 3, 2008 at 12:35 am

wandy vs silva would be a good match up for silva consirdering the way wandy strikes but i still think it would be a great fight. i know if i go to brazil i wouldnt fuck with anyone because everyone there is a black belt in BJJ and they all hace the last name silva to back it up

i wish dan would have made it out of that round, but i don't know if the out come would have been much different.Theres lindland but the ufc won't let him in and he is similar to dan but may stand a chance.wandy would be nice to see even though he would probally lose there not much other choice.gsp moving up would be good to watch i don't see him winning.in time the after he dominates a few more fights i think he should move up to 205 just for the challenge.

    March 3, 2008 at 3:34 am

I think that the only thing Anderson can do is move up to 205.. i really thought Hendo would be a good match up but silva walked through him aswel. I think the loser of Chuck v. Shogun should match up against Anderson. Either of them would be a hell of a match up for Anderson. I beleive if Silva comes through that fight Rampage would be the only man left who would have a chance.

    March 3, 2008 at 3:52 am

wandy would get his ass kicked by Anderson..Wandy and Chris Leban Fight like the same with there strike they both throw crazy and just walk straight and swing and anderson would knock out Wandy like chris maybe not as fAST but he for sure would lose…

  22. tom

    March 3, 2008 at 3:54 am

GSP vs Anderson would be cool and Matt Lindland VS Anderson..

  23. tom

    March 3, 2008 at 3:57 am

i think Matt (the hammer) would be one of the only people to beat Anderson cause he is way bigger and stronger and gold metals in The olypics but that fight will never happen..

  24. Kash

    March 3, 2008 at 4:01 am

I also think that Liddell vs. Anderson would be a great matchup because they are both lengthy strikers with power. I doubt Anderson could go down to 170 because he is so big even for MW but maybe he could face GSP someday at MW or at a catch weight in between.

    March 4, 2008 at 6:35 am

from what i heard they are already trying to pump the okami fight with anderson, witch is fine he should beat every top guy in his weight class before moving but its not a blockbuster fight that everyone will pay for.i also heard he would prefer to move down weight rather than up but would do what ever they wanted.last one i also heard b.j.'s name mentioned as a possibility and he has faced bigger guy than anderson(wieght wise).

Thats true BJ has even fought Machida before. If Anderson could go down in weight I would love to see him fight GSP.

Anderson is one badd ass but remember somewhere someplace and at any given moment someone can will always be better than you.

I'd actually like to see the Silva Okami rematch. Just to put that disqualification to rest. Okami wasn't looking bad against Silva up until the illegal kick. My money would be on Anderson of course.
