Anyways some good fights and well deserved bonuses but honestly how the hell does Griffin and Evans get fight of the night….i guess its becuase its the only one that went into round 3….oh well…

On the paydays keep in mind that this is not most of the fighters total pay…some get paperview bonuses, and sponsorship pays just like Lesnar and couture fight they both earned well over 1million after paperview % were released not bad for a pay day and you thought Affliction paid good..hmm they dont offer bonuses just strait out pay….affliction will not last past 2010 if they keep paying their fighters a pay out of 1.5 Million and do 1.6 Total with live gate they are just barely break even and you can not run a business that way…eventual it will crumble just like Elite XC, for the good of MMA they must change their ways.

Tim I agree with you somewhat.

They also need to pay fighters like AL Turk more than a lousy 7000 to get his face smashed in with a broken eye socket, two broken cheek bones and a broken jaw.

There should be a minimum pay for main card guys of 15,000.00

Well not every fighter is equal some are a bigger draw than others and therefore more revenue for the company…i agree they need to have a base salary per fight like in any other sport but with all due respect you cant have less talented fighters making the same as great fighters..

But it all comes down to who will make them the most money…the world revolves around it.

Tim- "with all due respect you cant have less talented fighters making the same as great fighters"

I agree, but for that reason I think those fighters shouldn't be on the main card. If they aren't worth paying a little more than $7000 (maybe $10,000 or $15,000 like Miko said) then they shouldn't be fighting better fighters. Not saying they should do it for the money, but they just don't seem worth it to the org.

Furthermore, what if Al Turk put on a GREAT, entertaining fight, but didn't get fight of the night, and still lost? Would he be worth more to them in that case?

The 4 granders still kind of piss me off but I guess the opportunity is worth more than the payday for them.

I WAS WRONG – Mostapha Al Turk – suspended until June 27 due to broken nose; minimum suspension until Feb. 27 with no contact until Feb. 12 due to lacerations over left eye and on top of head.

He's in better shape than the BULL$H!T I read a stated earlier.

Still though, 7k for a 6 month lay off and medical bills. Sucks for him :/
