Steve Cantwell (7-1) will have a change to improve his reputation against Luis Cane (9-1) on Saturday night at UFC 97 “Redemption”. Cantwell took heat by media and fans after dislocating Razak Al-Hassan arm at UFC Fight For The Troops, then celebrating by making an “Arm Snap” gesture.

I don't think he celebrated to much, and I don't understand why everyone came down on him so hard. That was an awesome break and he was just excited in his UFC debut. I like this guy and hopes he does well again this Saturday.

Al, If someone broke your arm in the same manner you'd think it isn't awesome at all, its terrible.

The guy wouldn't tap so the break was GONNA happen but he didn't have to run around afterward doing a break motion and telling joe hes always wanted to do that and calling it sweet…. not cool. But at least he now sees the error of his way.

ya i dont think anyone blames him for breaking the arm if u dont tap its ur own fault but running around happy that he hurt someone is unsportsman like and uncalled for.

It was not a cool move to celebrate like that, but it's true. The dude didn't tap. At the same time, Steve's admitting that he is only 22 and made a mistake in judgement…kids do stupid things, but he's acting like an adult by owning up to it and admitting he shouldn't have acted like that. He's not a Diaz, so I will give him another chance. hahaha.

Breaking an arm is only part of the risk when playing this game; however, feeling good and proud of inflicting this kind of damage to another fighter is not. How would you feel if you could not step into the ring for 6 weeks! After all, Steve Cantwell must have his brain completely buried under his stupid ego. Douche!!!
