UFC Cuts Trigg, Coleman, Nover and Hague

Times are hard in this this economy. The UFC made quick work, cutting UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman shorty after his loss to Randy Couture in the main event at UFC 109. Also cut, former UFC welterweight contender Frank Trigg after his weak performance against Matt Serra.

UFC 109 undercard fighters Phillipe Nover and Tim Hague are also on that list. Nover, a TUF veteran, was expected to be one of the UFC’s top prospects following the show, but after going 0-3 in the UFC, he was let go.

The UFC roster is very tight, named fighters are being let go after just two loses and newcomers know every fight is a must win.

Wanderlei still brings in many viewers. I would watch a card to see him fight.

because all of wands fights have been competitive in the ufc to real touh opponents besides the rampage fight and hes still 2-1 when it comes to fighting rampage. He also is mroe well rounded and doesnt look as owrn out as coleman. He's also a way more exciting fighter. every wand fight is amazing and fun to watch while all coleman knows is wrestling. congrats derek uve been enlightened.

If you saw the last fight Trigg had before this one with Serra you would have known what was coming. Nice guy, just washed up. Will make a great announcer

cmon, chuck has lost to jardine by decision, rampage via KO, Rashad Via KO, its not like hes fighting cans, bisping hasnt beaten any real competition and he still has a job (and if you say matt hamil your retarded) Hendo only won what one fight in the ufc, should he have gotten cut no. the fact is if you fight top notch guys you can drop 3 or 4 in a row, as long as your relevant and put asses in the seats you have a job a la Bonner. He lost to coleman, and got worked by Jon Jones before that. hes still got job cause of that TUF fight that helped make the ufc what it is today. like someone said above I will pay 50 bucks to watch wand fight, i will pay 50 bucks to watch bisping get knocked out, i wont pay 50 bucks for mark coleman to walk to the ring looking like skeletor and getting fucking pummeled for 15 minutes. even if you lose you gotta put on a show or your gone. thats why everytime someone gets cut its a BJJ guy that lays on people and isnt exciting or someone whose looked really shitty sometimes even winning.

No one expected Coleman to have more than a couple bouts in UFC.
