Good fight – bad decision. Condit won that fight, he did the damage and had control in the first two rounds. A little UFC politics perhaps? I'm just sayin'….

i tried to make it quick but it was harder without edith there.

i though condit won the fight too but that third round kampman controlled pretty well. that was the final impression on the judges. other than that it was exactly the fight i hoped for.

that was bullshit condit should have won he landed more strikes off his back than kampman did on top plus he dominated the standup i was very pissed about that decision.

as bullshit as it may or may not be like dana always says dont leave it in the hands of the judges. I though it could have even been a draw personally, i thought it was close and could go either way. If I had to say my pick i would say condit but kampmann handled it with class as the ufc fans booed him he praised condit and its not like condit is going to be going anywhere for a while he was wec champ and will get plenty more fights. Like Kom says in a close fight the winner of the last round usually gets it, one knock down was the big difference maker in jardine/rampage. Gotta finish fights. Honestly I was not impressed with Condit or Kampmanns cardio they both looked pretty gassed after about halfway through the second, Hitman was throwing punches a ten year old girl coudl take, I still like him @ 185 i think hes better there.

Kampman is much better suited for 170. He got thrown around by Marquardt because of his size and strength dis advantage. Junie doesnt seem that good of a fighter. I have gave him his chance to prove me wrong and what does he do? He loses without really doing anything. What exactly is he supposed to be good at wrestling? He didnt want to stand with Cole and he went down and got schooled. The judges dont go back and change what they thought about the first and second round by what happens in the third round guys.

true that steve they cant go back and change what they scored that round and i thought condit definetly won the first two rounds seeing as he was the only one who did any reall damage with his strikes.

i think kampmann won, first round won basically on submission attempts etc, condit got the second round and kampmann controlled the 3rd. Good decision

i dont understad why submission ATTEMPTS are scored so highly. i think u should get points for doing it but not as much as that huge knee Condit landed. i joint locks should be given points but as for the chokes he tried once ur out of them the other guy is more burnt out than you. sometimes in practice i let people keep a choke for awhile if im know im not gunna get submitted so it burns out their arms.

i can see how the judges saw a deep guillotine hold on condit as being a factor for winning the round. but damn i was really impressed more by condit being able to stay calm and work his way out. its too bad they gave the 1st to kampmann.

1 thing I hate about mma is how you can win a fight without actually doing any damage. Not that Kampman didnt land some shots but Condit didnt even have a mark on his face. Pretty pathetic when you think about it. 15 minute fight and I dont even think Condit had a bloody lip.
