On Saturday, October 26, UFC Fight Night features a middleweight showdown between Mark Munoz and Lyoto Machida.

Previously, Munoz was to face Michael Bisping, who had to pull out of the bout due to an eye injury. Munoz, who had suffered a long time hand injury is anxious to reclimb the ranks and earn a title shot.

Machida, who has fought in the light heavyweight division for his entire UFC career, is making his debut at middleweight. His last fight at light heavyweight was against fast rising Phil Davis, who defeated Machida by unanimous decision. Machida is ready to get back into the win column and be the destructive force MMA fans look forward to seeing in the Octagon.

Munoz looked ultra impressive in his last bout, winning a unanimous decision in a dominant performance against Tim Boetsch at UFC 162.

In the co-main event, lightweight strikers and Ultimate Fighter alumni Ross Pearson takes on Melvin Guillard in what should be an exciting match.

In the light heavyweight division, hard hitting Jimi Manuwa takes on dynamic striker Ryan Jimmo.

Lightweight fighters Norman Parke and Jon Tuck face off in the Octagon.

Longtime veteran Alessio Sakara returns to action as he takes on Nicholas Musoke in a middleweight showdown.

The final fight on the main card features a flyweight showdown between Phil Harris and John Lineker.

UFC Fight Night Machida vs Munoz will air on Fox Sports 1, October 26, 2013.
