UFC on FOX 2: Mark Munoz Injured, Michael Bisping Steps in to Fight Chael Sonnen in #1 Contenders Match

Today Dana White released a statement on Twitter that a main card fight for UFC on FOX 2 just got changed. Mark Munoz was originally slated to fight Chael Sonnen in a #1 contenders match, but has had to pull out of the event due to an undisclosed injury. Taking his place is Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping with the winner earning a middleweight title show against Anderson Silva.

Dana White’s via Twitter:

“Munoz is injured and out of the FOX fight! Now it’s Chael Sonnen vs Mike Bisping jan 28th and the winner will fight Anderson for the title.”

UFC on FOX 2 will take place at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. on January 28th, headlined by Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis.

    Bisping is an easier fight for Sonnen than Munoz.

    Cant stand any of them i hope they do a rocky 2 and knock each other out completely.
