that was so fast i didn't even catch any of it. i don't know if i had the time wrong but i had to catch a replay. i don't think the ufc made a lot of new fans with that fight. they should have had GSP fight on the first card because he is very athletic and he doesn't finish fights early. you can almost be guaranteed the full hour when he fights.

ben henderson vs. frankie edgar is going to be a dynamite fight. i'm glad he won.

In attempt to gain more fans across broadcast prime time television, the UFC and Fox had a bomb blow up in their face.  The bomb had a very short fuse, 64 seconds to be exact.  Velasquez vs. Dos Santos was hyped up, amped up, and only took a minute to be finished.  If Fox and the UFC were trying to build a bigger fan base, looking at gaining football fans and boxing fans, they did not accomplish this feat.
The impression that was left after the 64 seconds and one a punch knock out is: The UFC is all bark, and no fight.
Suggestion for the next time the UFC is on Fox:  Show two fights.  Have your main event scheduled live, but introduce the fans with a warm up fight.  Show a pre-record fight from earlier in the night, perhaps the fight of the night or the submission of the night.  This is will give the main stream audience a feeling of what MMA is about.  Ben Henderson vs. Clay Guida would have been a perfect fight to broadcast on Fox.
If you only get 1 hour of network air time – make is worth it.  Pick from the best fight of the night and then air your heavy weight main event.
Why would you feature a heavy weight fight anyways, most end by KO in the first round.  Showcase the best fights that you have on a stage like this…ERRRRRRR
