UFC Resorting To Shady Antics Against Couture

“UFC just shot an ‘All Access’ special with Wanderlei Silva that will air in late December. Silva now lives in Las Vegas and trains at Xtreme Couture. The funny part of the story is they wouldn’t film him training at Couture’s gym. They made he and his workout partners come to the UFC gym and the Xyience Training Center to film him working out. Some of his training partners, including at least one UFC fighter, were wearing Xtreme Couture T-shirts and were told they couldn’t wear those while filming.”

Another pathetic revenge technique the UFC is pulling to smear a champion. This is why I am hoping for some real competition in MMA industry. Get over it UFC, Couture’s gone.

This is just pathetic!! Its like they have returned to childhood. Shame really. You would have thought the company that promotes its self as the best and biggest company in the world for MMA, would be bigger than they are proving to be, and not do this.

well what do u expect them to do? I dont agree with the UFC and the Randy Couture thing but if the Champ left my business I wouldnt sponsor him either. Nobody would. You have to understand that.

The UFC is not sponsoring him, they are just following a fighter as they prepare for their fight.

Regardless of the Randy Couture situation, Extreme Couture has like 4 gyms throughout the country and some of the best fighters in the UFC.

The UFC is blacklisting the gym, just like they did with Militich Fighting Systems.

Lets face it those gyms ARE the UFC.

How can they sponsor a guy who left them in contract. The answer is you cant the only way Couture will go back with the UFC is if they pay the big bucks. And they are not willing to do that. Rady doesnt have much to complain about though. He was aroung mid 30 and he was unknown and then he beats chuck and well u all know he loses to chuck and beats tito and loses to chuck and blah blah blah. He is a millionaire. If I was making half that money I would be happy but greed gets the best of us. Even Randy.

The UFC needs to get over it!! What more does Randy need to do for them?? Why stay? They really needed to get Fedor. The UFC was paying other fighters more than Randy to fight yet those fighters haven't put in their time in the UFC. It's all about respect, and the UFC took a dump on Randy.

The UFC has always been a "either youre with us or against us" business. They arent going to show Coutures gym anymore and I bet they are telling Rogan to stop saying his name in future UFCs and interviews. Couture made the UFC look bad and they dont want to remind us of him anymore. That said, I hope Couture accepts the UFCs new offer to defend his belt against Noguiera.

Maybe I'm wrong but you guys may be reading too much into this. Maybe all this is is UFC trying to avoid controversy in a program featuring Silva by avoiding mention of Couture. If they push out the Couture guys, plus Miletich, basically all they would have left would be … 1 or 2 camps they might as well just give M1, Elite XC and IFL the top fighters…

mind you beyond light heavyweight maybe they already have.

I wish that we all could pull together and boycott UFC they are dirtballs maing alot of money off us and dont care about anyone i must have spent over 500 bucks he last year watching the fights and that is going to stop now. i just wished everyone would and then maybe we could help the fighters that need help from this monster we created = (UFC) and yes we the fans made this possible and if enough of us stood together we could break them. its just not the RANDY thing anymore Dana thinks he can do whatever he wants and noone can stop him in his mind. Look at spike TV all we see anymore is reruns and nothing new and we have to watch more commercials then the actual fights. it stinks and is going to get WORSE just wath if you can stand it. lets help the fighters and BOYCOTT the PPV for the next few fights and see hat happens?

When you get big sometimes business is bad like losing Couture. I get what your saying about boycotting because then maybe they will get more good fights on the PPV and not make us pay for some good fights from the undercards, I hate that. I wish all of the PPVs are like the Superbowl they are planning for February, I mean, we pay $40 each to watch two good fights it seems like. I'm going to be getting this next one because I like watching Rashad, I used to workout at the same gym as him so I'm going to be pulling for him.
