I like faber, but he needs to come to the UFC and fight some people. He hasnt really fought anyone that stands out except little evil. I think faber would do well in the UFC. He is really intense in the ring

I'm gonna sit amongst the bar-goers and watch this fight, which I hate doing. I hate when people yell ridiculous things at the fights. I understand not knowing much about the sport and learning about it, but don't be loud about your lack of knowledge. Oh well, it'll be good. What do you people think about the Pulver Garcia fight?

remember how crazy leonard garcia was against roger huerta. i think he beats pulver dude can take a beating.

That sticks out in my mind too. He took some of Huerta's hardest punches and wouldn't go down.

I am loving the last few wec events. Faber will bounce back just like gsp did. He seems very determined.

faber should fight garcia to see who the number one contender is… why? because i desperatley want to see that fight haha

Faber needed a reality check. His style of reckless abandon and not worrying about the other fighters strengths finally caught up with him. He looked like a WWE wrestler trying to throw a lead elbow off a scramble.

If they fight again it will be the same result unless he sticks and moves. Dances in and out all night not letting Brown get close. Brown is too strong.

Maybe reality will set in for Jens. He's a stepping stone and not a contender. They keep calling him lil' evil even though I haven't seen that guy in many years.

Was anyone else laughing at Mir's commentary towards the end of the Chael/Paulo fight? "Who is that guy looking at?" Even Chael was concerned that Paulo didn't know what was going on at the final hand shake. He sort of stepped back because I don't think Paulo knew the fight was over. I can't wait to hear the drug test results!

yeah Dane, that would be a good fight. Man, I didn't think Pulver AND Faber would get knocked out like that, especially not in the first round.

Dont think Faber would beat Brown if they fought again. U seen how much bigger and stronger and all together more powerful Brown was. Urijah couldnt and wont be able to take him down and he cant hurt him standing. Brown wins in a rematch too. Besides he came out to Bush-Comedown He is awesome lol.

How many people will wikipedia matt brown and get the TUF 7 guy and be like he dropped 40 pounds and then he beat Faber holy s@#t!

I love featherweight and bantamweight im a featherweight. Every guy i ever fought (three guys) has been so vastly more well rounded than many upperweights. You get guys who have weird standup styles like Greco Roman and Muay Thai. Or Karate mixed with wrestling and Rigatso. I wish i had versus i have to watch the WEC fights in scrambled flash players.

i don't know steve, i think it would not be a easy fight but faber was so much faster than him if he stuck and move he could beat him with out ever having to go to the ground he only got caught trying to do some crazy move, i think next time around he fights alot smarter, he still could lose but i would lean toward him winning no dout.

U think he could avoid Browns punching power for 5 rounds? Not to sure about that and that crazy shit u speak of is what he does. He is a wild unorthodox style fighter that pulls tricks out of know where and that just comes natural to him. I like Faber but this just isnt a good match up. He is outmatched and Brown could submit him if it went to the ground and he may be faster but that dont matter when u cant hurt ur opponent. Brown will be able to take his punches and land the shots to take him out again. I hope Faber doesnt get upset trying to bounce back like we have seen people do in the past. Hopefully the loss motivates him and mkes him think about what he is doing standing. He has no business throwing that elbow and he paid for it but then again if he landed it we would be saying everyone needs to try that.

one he could hurt him and yes he could avoid a big punch for 5 rounds alot of people do and he is a great fighter and it wasn't a normal punch that dropped him he ran into that punch throwing that elbow, i am not saying mrown could not win again but i would go with faber winning fighting a smarter fight but yes he will still throw in his unorthodox stuff but hopefully at a smarter time.
