WEC 41: Mike Brown vs Urijah Faber 2



The rematch between Mike Brown (17-4-1) and Urijah Faber (22-2) at WEC 41 has been signed, according to a report on FiveOuncesOfPain. Faber will look to regain his WEC featherweight title from Mike Brown on June 7 in his hometown of Sacramento, CA.

The report also dismisses rumors that WEC 41 will be on PPV. WEC 41 will air free on Versus.

Mike Brown shocked MMA, when he defeated Faber, the longtime champion, by first round TKO at WEC 36.

    yeah this should be a battle i think faber will win but brown should make it a great fight.

    I hope Faber keeps his head on straight for this one. I like Faber, but I thought that elbow strike was ridiculous and the fight would have went on if he didn't do that.

    Mike Brown is gonna knock pretty boy out cold this time, he's just too strong for Faber. That right hand threw him back 3 feet the first fight. Uriah knows it and he will be too cautious-

    id like to see jens at 135 if he could make it a fight between him and torres could be fireworks but i dont know if he could make 135… he doesnt seem much bigger than curran.

    faber is going to kill brown he was beating browns A$$ in the first fight untill that elbow he got caught thats it fight will end with the belt around faber again and fabers hand in the air!
