What Retirement? Wanderlei Silva Says You’ll See Him “Again and Again and Again”

During the UFC 139 Conference Call held earlier today, Wanderlei Silva talked about how his devastating KO at the hands of Chris Leben does not mean he should hang them up.

He stated,

What happened the last fight can happen with everybody. You can’t tell Cain Velasquez he has to retire now because he lasted one minute. This happens to everybody. I want to fight again and again and again.

I was champion for a long time and I’d love to be on top again.

We’ll find out this Saturday of he still has plenty in the tank as Wanderlei Silva faces Cung Le at the HP Pavillion in San Jose, CA.

He's really exciting but if he loses badly on Saturday I think he should think about wrapping it up. And of course Joe Rogan always tries to get the scoop by asking nothing but retirement questions and telling them "thank you for what you've done for the sport."

Wandi is a warrior who always has exciting fights. I'd rather watch him than some lay n pray wrestler.
